so I was watching the cards preseason game on nfl network and I INSTANTLY recognized goldie's voice.
He did a pretty good job actually, not the greatest, but easily better than some of the other boring guys. I'm pretty sure he's always loved football, so maybe he's trying to get in there and make it his future?
I know a lot of people don't like him, but I do. I don't need him to know the intricacies better than everyone especially since he's play-by-play. He has good excitement and a non-annoying voice.
So I hope he keeps working for the UFC, and since most PPV's are on Saturday, he could probably do both, although it could get crazy for 1pm sunday games. He must live in Arizona or something, so I'm thinking it would just be for local cards market.
anyway, it was weird/neat when I realized it was him calling the action.
