Actually, 19-8 can be a very good record in MMA depending on who they have fought. Case and point, Randy Couture is in the UFC Hall of Fame with a 18-10 record. Chuck Lidell also in the Hall of Fame with a slightly better 21-8 record (although most of his losses came at the end of his career). And lastly, Mark Coleman is in the Hall of Fame with a record of 16-10.

Belfort has beaten guys like Tank Abbott, Wanderlei Silva, Randy Couture and Rich Franklin while they were all around the prime of their careers. Some of his signature losses have came against guys like Randy Couture (x2), Alistair Overeem (x2), Chuck Liddell, Tito Ortiz and Dan Henderson. That's pretty impressive.



I'll take someone who actually finishes the fight over someone who says they can and doesn't because they want to "put on a show".

just pointing it out. Not saying it means you're a bum. But I will say, the absolute elite don't have records like that - at least now - or even in the recent past. GSP Anderson Fedor etc...and as you say someone like chuck had a really bad losing streak at the end of his career.

speaking of chuck, I hope we get a virtual clone of him again with a bit more strike variety. Someone that basically only wants to strike and you can't take him down ever! I love that kickboxing/muay thai background and people that take advantage of it.

Well damn, the guide is messed up then because the guide says its supposed to be a repeat of the countdown show and not the prelims. Thanks for mentioning it as I just assumed the guide knew what it was talking about, lol, so Im sure Ive been missing out all this time since I never bothered to check and just took the guide at face value.

Japanese fighters will never do well in the UFC because of elbows. Elbows being legal in UFC is always the down fall of Japanese fighters.

About the only Japanese fighter that has done well in the UFC is Okami and TK back in the 90s.

Cowboy looked off tonight but he still won. He choked the hell out of Kelly. Heck Cowboy despite fighting 2 rounds, didn't even break a sweat.
