UFC 127 is expected to take place Feb. 5 in Las Vegas and feature a middleweight title fight between current champion Anderson Silva and dangerous striker Vitor Belfort.

Possibly the winner of Brock/Cain could also be on this card if winner comes out healthy.

Well at least we know the Silva & Belfort fight won't be a snore fest and a stand up war. That fight should end with somebody being KO'ed or TKO'ed.

Doubt that. No way Dana stacks this card with two title shots especially when Silva/Belfort can sell PPV's on its own.

me too but thats a hell of a fight that i want to see, and a fight that need to happen. i dont care who wins, but who ever does moves up the rankings into that upper eschlon a win or 2 away from a title shot.

Now the co-main event is supposed to be Rich Franklin vs Forrest Griffin. Talk about a packed card already, hopefully there are no injuries.

Exactly, Card looks sick so far through 3 fights. Hopefully it gets some more solid fights, it could turn out to be as good if not better than 116.

What makes you say that?

Anderson and Vitor are both counter fighters.. and Vitor is going to be rusty as hell.

I actually see this fight being a snoozer as neither fighter will want to engage in respect for each other's stand-up. Chael's the only guy who had the ability to surprise Anderson with a strike since Anderson was thinking takedown all the way anyway.

Of course, maybe Vitor decides to kamikaze Anderson and rush him before Anderson gets into his rhythm.. but I doubt it. It probably will end with someone being out cold.. but so did Mir / CC, and that fight sucked.

I think Jones finishes it in the second because Bader is so tough in the first round. This is a very sick matchup though. Jones is beating everyone not named Shogun / Machida right now.

I like Ace to beat Forrest in a unanimous decision.

Silva / Belfort doesn't sell PPVs alone though. This strong undercard though will easily get this PPV into a million though, assuming all the matchups hold true.
