Which game is best for the offline gamer?

    THQ's UFC or EA's MMA?

I know the retail version of MMA isn't out yet, but we can discuss based off what we know so far and the demo impressions.

Figured I would bump this up instead of creating another thread. Phobia's got me all confused now with his talk of UFC 2010, lol.

So guys, help me out and remember, this is offline only.

EA MMA of course. 2010's career mode is just terrible anyway but MMA has a few paths and options to take. Like you can go through Brazil or New Jersery or whatever and when you get promoted you can choose Strikeforce or Japan. Each place has its own rules as well.

Offline DJ it is no contest. EA MMA hands down. UFC 2010 CPU AI is completely broken and must be played online to have good matches.

EA MMA offline is pretty decent, just the lack of challenge from the AI is only issue. Lower levels you can beat them in clinch, submissions, ground, and standup. In the higher levels it is a much more fair match in the Clinch, ground, and Standup. But the issue arises that the CPU is unbeatable in submissions on the higher levels.

Exactly! I loved EA MMA but once I got on higher levels the CPU got amazing at sub defense...I learned to deal with it and got a bit better, but it's so annoying.

Does UFC 09' still have an active online community?

I have not put it in the xbox in a long time. But I would put money on it that it still does.

It's pretty hard to find a match on Xbox 360.
