Here is my first ranked Middleweight match. I'm Lawler and he is Shields. I actually want to attempt to keep things standing but I could tell early this guy was not guarding from takedowns and was too open. I took him down and got the quick submission under a minute into the first round...

Here was my 2nd fight in my Career. I opened him up with a knee to the face and I ended up completely covered in blood when I had him tapping.

I created another fighter and was messing around with him. He's a big, muscle packed brawler with average takedown defense and a fairly mediocre ground game. The idea is obvious - to keep him standing. He doesn't do too bad, because I gave him a decent rating for getting back to his feet... However in side control against a ground fighter, he gets subbed quite easily. I'm sure from full guard top, too, but I never take it down.

Anyway - I had some fights with Scott Smith that were fun. Some good KO's... Although, I get a little annoyed with the stand up, because the AI just comes at me winging shots and I can't get away from them and even though I'm blocking and have a good chin, I still get rocked quite often (even against weak standup fighters).

I then did some fights against my other CAF who's a ground fighter. He mostly kicked my ***, but there was this one fight that had a crazy ending. I threw a body shot and then spinning backfist combo... I landed it and rocked him, then I was trying to get my guy to go after him, but I couldn't... I notice my guy falling and his head meter empty... Then he just slumps down and is out cold... He caught me with a hook to the chin right as my backfist landed. Kind of like Condit/Hardy, except it was a clean KO. In the Condit fight, you can see Condit stunned for a second and he wobbles back. In this one, I rocked his guy enough to make him wobble for a second or two, but I was out cold from his counter.

It was awesome.
