Also - are sub defenses and offenses all tied to the same stat? So far it seems so, but that would be a big mistake and I hope I'm missing something.

Ok - that's at least better.

simon, anyway if this gets patched we can save replays out of fight card fights?

game as a whole is awesome:

But either make stamina a bigger issue for the stand up or have accelerated clock. First option would be much better since it forces the player to manage his striking and pick and chopose moments to attack, but if too much to program, the next patch should include accelerated clock like Undisputed series has.

Right now, I can deliver 150 strikes a round on average with basically very little penalty on stamina. In real life, if a fighter with decent stamina does this in the 1st round, he would be forced in taking off the 2nd round.

Stamina on the ground is well done, but stand up stamina needs more emphasis.

It will make the arcade guys unhappy since the action will be much less, but when there is a huge moment like a flurry to hurt your opponent, it will be more meaningful imo.

Again, maybe this ios asking too much for the patch, so an accelerated clock would be a nice way to mitigate the too many strikes per round issue.

100% agree about the stamina. Accl clock might look like the problem is fix on paper, with less totals, but unfortunately wouldn't have the desired effect on gameplay since guys could still spam a bunch of punches. Also, it might make the situation even worse, less time will favor the striking game even more since it takes more time and work to get a good ground advantage going. Time that will no longer be there with a faster clock.

Even if they toned it down to 50-100 strike avg that's still a lot of action. Typically much more than what you'll see in your avg MMA fight.

I know the accelerated clock could create other problems, but I think it will be better than now. I do think a shorter round real time ( say 3 minutes) would be enough to for strikes and ground game.

I wish they included a stamina slider for the patch....keep it as is for online, but for offline,we should be able to adjust the stamina for sure.

Ok yeah.......probably going to repeat myself, but oh well.

                  1. Single collar tie is a must !
                  2. Better damage visual to the face.
                  3. Muay thai clinch whip.
                  4. North south position
                  5. Ivan Salvary position
                  6. Submissions from half guard bottom.
                  7. Knees and elbows from side control.
                  8. More weight in takedowns. Should be some type of physical struggle.

Now that I have finally put in a week of gameplay I can give my wish list.

-Re brand the game to Strikeforce MMA (if they are still around). Use of CBS and Showtime branding can help go a long way.
                    -PPV/Fight Night TV style presentation.
                    -Weigh-ins.
-Add the Strikeforce female fighters + others from around the world.
-Involve the cage more when on the ground which is lacking in both games.
-Ref stopping a fight if it looks to be completely going one sided.
                    -Full entrances w/custom tracks.
-Improve commentary.....current commentary is very lacking.
                    -Sliders.
-Current Gameface is just a total pain, needs to be easier + is very inaccurate.
-Allow for current roster of fighters to be used in Career as your fighter, but with low ratings as they are making their MMA debut. Use the current career mode where you begin in the smaller fake leagues and work your way up to Strikeforce or Mystic (Dream).
-Ability to defend championships in the lower leagues.
-Stamina in the stand up game needs to be improved. Human and AI can spam without getting gassed out.
-The CPU is way too successful with takedowns.

I want them to tone down how good the AI is at locking in choke subs. On lengend its pretty much instant tap. Even if you have a great run its like the AI never moves off the sweet spot.

I vote for the accel clock. Well thats assuming they fix the judges scoring. No point in having matches go to a decision when the scores end up so messed up and illogical.

Thats all for now but Im sure I will had more later.

Hopefully they can fix the judges scoring with a patch.

If they do that then they can only use Strikeforce signed fighters, strikeforce rules set only and strikeforce arenas only. Which means no unified rules set, no vale tudo rules set and no japanese rules set. Then you can't fight in Japan or Brazil. Can't fight in a boxing ring, etc.

That's not entirely true. EA NHL has implemented other leagues in their games. Just because you brand it as a specific major league doesn't mean you can't still implement other minor leagues in that same game.
