Illegal strike is an illegal strike.......Anderson Silva got DQ for an illegal kick. Jon Jones got DQ'ed for an illegal elbow.

So it really doesn't matter if a person was winning the fight already or was a superior fighter anyway.

I figured Bisping just threw it to try and catch him on the way up. I guess Rivera will be celebrating Bisping's bday and forefiting presents now. "I just want to apologize...I'm sorry...now go home loser." Now I wanna see him and Silva even more.

When I heard all 3 judges had the Ring fight 29-28 I thought we were in line for competent judging. That all 3 had noticed Ring was controlling the first round despite being on the bottom. Then they said Ring won. So I get how he won the first round but the other 2...

The draw was fine though. I had Penn with 1 & 2 and a 10-8 3rd for Fitch.

Has the post fight press conference started for anyone yet? I seem to be having nothing but issues using MMA Mania so if anyone has an alternate spot they are watching it at let me know.

I didn't catch it either, other then the guy said something ran longer then expected and Dana's couldn't make it. I don't see Jorge sitting there, so maybe he went to the hospital with him I guess.

Bisping spitting in the corner of Jorge's cornermen is beyond pathetic imo.

EDIT- Good God, the best thing to come out of the press conference is BJ saying hes going to go back to grappling and taking guys down instead of just boxing, about damn time.

When is Mark Hunts contract up anyways? I know hes only there because of something to do with UFC buying Pride but he really has no place in the UFC, same with Tuchsherer as hes really not any good either imo.

Strange to think a year ago how he was dominating people with no problem.

I truly feel that BJ just doesn't want to fight as much as he did a year ago. He dominated the lightweight division for a long time. Then came out flat on Edgar twice (Well the first fight he got robbed).

What else could he do? If he beat Edgar, he would just be cleaning up lightweight after lightweight. He flunked twice on his test to GSP and wouldn't have much of a draw in a GSP/Penn III.

I truly feel that BJ just lost that fire he used to have. I thought we may have seen glimpses of it against Hughes, but that was too short of a match to tell. Even his attitude has changed, he went from wanting to knocking heads off to "seeing what people got."

His interview with Joe Rogan had no excuses. He knew he lost and felt Fitch got robbed. He sounded like a man that doesn't know if he wants to stay with MMA or not.
