    Mayhem (back) to UFC

Jason "Mayhem" Miller is going back to the UFC.

The popular middleweight has signed a new multi-fight agreement with the organization, Miller's manager Ryan Parsons confirmed with MMA Fighting.

The 30-year-old Miller (24-7, 1 NC) was able to sign with the UFC due to the fact that his contract with Strikeforce had expired. No word just yet on when his first fight back inside the Octagon will take place.

LOL. Goh beat me to it. I was just about to post this. I think Mayhem will be a fine middle of the road MW. Good enough to beat guys like Munoz but loses to guys like Sonnen and Silva.

So I'm assuming we'll see Shields/Mayhem if and when Shields loses to GSP.

Probably not since Shields is at WW and Mayhem is at MW.. Also didnt Shields beat Mayhem already in SF?

Yeah, but I think there was talks of a rematch or trash talking between the two after the first one. I think it was during that moment where the douchebag Diaz brothers interrupted one of Shields' fights post-match.

Yeah, there was definitely talk of a rematch when Shields was still in SF. Maybe even an immediate rematch, IIRC. I don't see it happening in the UFC though. I don't see why Shields would want to move up especially, if there is a chance that GSP will eventually leave the division.

I think people sleep on Munoz, personally.
Does Jorge Santiago have a fight? Maybe match these two up.

I'd favor Munoz against Mayhem. Santiago is fighting Stann at UFC 130.

I see. Forgot about that I guess
I favor Munoz against a lot of guys. I think he will give Maia a lot tougher test than people say he will/ and possibly beat him.

Meyham is a WW who has gotten away with fighting at MW because most of the people fighting at MW outside the UFC are also WW's or just aren't very good.

Plus he's just not that good himself. Slightly above average maybe but he's just not that good at any one part of the game.

                          He's fighting Aaron Simpson.

Mayhem by his own admission can't even make 170 anymore. Take it for what it worth but, check out the 2:20 mark of this video

Admittedly, I'm a huge Mayhem fan. He instantly becomes my favorite MW in the UFC. I don't think that he will make a run at the title or anything but, I do think he will give us some exciting fights. He's already making a push to become the next TUF coach. Personally, I'd love to see Mayhem and Sonnen as the next set of coaches. Not only because of the entertainment they would provide but, also Mayhem would be going for the revenge factor. As he lost his first loss as a pro to Chael Sonnen in 2002.

He would lose again. He has problem against bigger, stronger fighters, especially wrestlers.
I like Mayhem too though. I think him and Sonnen would be good coaches.
