Re: UFC on Versus 5 - August 14 - Hardy v. Lyttle
Chris Lytle apparently announced he was going to retire following the fight with Hardy later today. Im shocked and surprised so now Im sure the UFC would prefer Hardy win otherwise its a waste of a fight since Hardy might be on his way out with a loss and the winner would be retiring.

Hopefully, he can go out on a positive note.
I can't remember which one but, I vaguely remember one of them calling the other out around the time the WEC merged with the UFC. I'd love to see it happen though.Last edited by jeremym480; 08-14-2011, 06:56 PM.My 2K17 Boston Celtics MyLeague

Well those 2 have had feud going on for the past 5 years now. Cole Miller beat Cerrone years ago when he was 1st starting out and was pretty much a big douche about beating somebody who was having their 1st fight.
Ever since then Cerrone being gunning for Miller.Comment

Cole Miller and Cerrone haven't fought yet. If I remember correctly, Miller beat a friend of Cowboy's and was acting like his **** didn't stink. Cerrone was just getting into the game at the time, but he told Miller that one day they'd meet up in the cage. It's definitely a matchup I'd like to see happen.Comment

They hate each other, it's a legit hate.
Cerrone has been talking about Miller even in the same interviews he's giving for this event, lol.
I wouldn't be surprised if they got in to it in the backComment

The world's premier MMA promotion, the Ultimate Fighting Championship, recently absorbed the WEC and its fighters. With last night's WEC 53 event being the last for that promotion, many of the WEC fighters are starting to plan their UFC debuts. Count Cerrone among them, as he has already picked out the opponent he would like to face in his first UFC bout.
"Cole Miller," Cerrone said of who he'd like to fight next. "He beat a good friend of mine, Leonard Garcia, and before I was anything I told him I'm coming for you Cole, and Cole, I'm coming for you."My 2K17 Boston Celtics MyLeague

This makes me sad. Lytle has been my favorite WW for awhile now.
Hopefully, he can go out on a positive note.
