I would've been more disappointed if the Penn/Diaz fight had an injury. Sucks that this one has to be scrapped, but at least it seems that GSP won't be out for a long length of time.

Ouch. Its still a decent card and its still Vegas. You'll have fun.

FYI, if you are ever going to buy a ticket to a UFC event and you can't get it for face value the day they go on sale, wait until the day of and by them from a Stubhub. I've gotten them for less than face value that way.

Regardless it was GSP. It was a title fight, and it was against one of the most exciting WW's in the world.

I wasn't "expecting much" myself from GSP's end, but it was still the most intriguing opponent for GSP in a long time. Diaz or Condit are the most interesting fights for GSP right now that's why I'm so disappointed. Not sure how much truth there is to "just being a sprain" but hopefully it's 100% accurate and he can fight asap.

I really hope they don't cut this guy. He belongs in the UFC. Hopefully he doesn't have anymore hiccups.

I hope they agree to make it a 5 rounder. I think that would def give the advantage to Nick.

                  This guy is a nut

Nick: I fight harder than these guys, I do better than these guys and I look better than these guys.

                  Nick: Nobody can beat me.

Nick regarding the Strikeforce belt: I never put on that belt, he can have it.

I've come down from the utter disappointment I was feeling. I'll still have a good time.

But make no mistake about it, GSP is my favorite fighter(actually favorite athlete), and he was the reason I was making the trip.

However, now that the fog of disappointment has cleared a bit, I'm looking forward to the trip once again.

                      I love Cowboy, lol

“You tell me about Siver, because I don’t know a thing about the dude,” Cerrone said. “I know he accidentally won his last fight and now he gets to fight me. That’s about all I know. I’ve seen him throw a spinning back kick against Paul Kelly, the same guy I fought, and he threw that spinning back kick and knocked him out.

“Other than that, I don’t know much about the dude. I know that in his last fight, he fought Matt Wiman, and Wiman beat the [expletive] out of him and he somehow miraculously won the fight. Now, he gets to fight me, so that’s about it. I’ll be ready for it.”

Dennis Siver beat Matt Wiman, and I'm tired of hearing about that being a bad decision. Just because Wiman throws a tantrum and runs out of the cage when he doesn't get a decision doesn't mean he should have won.

I like Cowboy, but he's wrong there. I still think he beats Siver though, should be a good fight.

I agree. Wiman won one round big, but not a 10-8. Siver won the other 2. Cowboy will most likely get tagged a few times, but then sub him later on.

Meh, it was a razor close score card, but I believe Siver lost that fight. I'm not gonna argue with someone who thinks otherwise, but yeah it's not as if Cowboy's claims are way off base.

He was just having fun there.

I am definitely on the WEC war wagon with Bendo and Cowboy.

I agree. I don't think Cowboy will ever hold gold, but I think Bendo will. Does anyone know what the record vs UFC-WEC lw's are?

I'm almost certain it's around .500 split down the middle.
