Re: Brock is back
In a way I feel sorry for him with his health issues shorting his MMA career. But I highly doubt he will fight this year. Probably the beginning of next year.
I would put him up against Roy Nelson or Brandon Schaub.
IMO Frank Mir should automatically be next in line to face the winner of the Cain/Dos Santos fight. -
Re: Brock is back
Must get a gif for that opening intro.
I thought he was 100% last time he came back? I think we have seen the best days for Brock. I highly doubt he will reclaim the title, although I would love to see him do it.Last edited by LingeringRegime; 08-18-2011, 12:07 PM.Comment

Re: Brock is back
I agree with the both of you.
It's a shame what injuries can do to athletes.
While everyone else is evolving and actually getting fights in, Brock has been stunted in a sense and hasn't had that many bouts under his belt to begin with.
Freakish size and physical tools will only get you so far in any sport. The main thing is he hasn't been able to train regularly and get better while everyone else has. If he was younger it would be a different story.
With all of that said, he always puts on exciting fights and he still always has his wrestling and size to fall back on. I'm rooting for him.Comment

Re: Brock is back
the highlight of that video for me was seeing him a jimmy john's sub and beef jerky. Not really the best diet for a guy that has had trouble with multiple bouts of diverticulitis, but whatever.Comment
