Everything Ive seen so far looks good and i think this game will be a huge improvement over Undisputed 2. But, i think these 3 things will determine whether this game is really good or great.
First off, the roster is really good, but they left alot of holes and key guys missing in it. If its anything like the last 2 games they will not fix any of it. Hopefully things change this time around. If not they need to greatly improve the caf. Id say make it like fight night. U should be able to create a guy with good stats w/o going through a boring *** career mode with every guy. I understand u cant get randy couture in the game but at least give us the tools in caf to make a good couture (hair, ears, shorts etc) and other guys too. Also, they should allow file sharing. If they do a good job with CAF, u should be able to make a fighter look close to who u are trying to create. There is an art to this and not everyone can do it. so we should be able to go online and look through the best Coutures, Sakurabas, Shamrocks, etc. I guess its kinda related but we should also be allowed to edit existing fighters stats. Even if its only for offline play. Every other sports game allows it. Since thq doesnt even try to keep up with roster updates, at least give us this.
Also, they should have legends in the game. Who wouldnt want to play as some of the old school fighters in there prime? Tank Abbott, Don Frye, Bas Rutten, Pedro Rizzo, Jens Pulver, Pat Miletich, Dan Severn, Mark Coleman, Evan Tanner and many more would be great characters for the game. I mean come on u gotta at least put Tanner in the game. I know the legends isnt a huge deal but it would be pretty cool.
DLC - Come on guys, neither of the first two releases had any characters released later. If the games not gonna be released every year you gotta do something to keep up the real UFC. Theres new stars in the ufc all the time. Please make some kind of effort to keep the roster up to date.
Eventhough i dont expect any of this to make the game im sure it will be good. Cant wait to try pride mode. Hope u can take current ufc fighters into pride mode and vice versa. If anyone knows please let me know. Ok just had to get that off my chest.
