Very Solid card, and I see Mighty Mouse - Benavidez in the finals.
I think Kampmann and Alves could become a war.
I've wanted that fight for a long time - and now I get it! lol

Even though Hardy's out, I want Hardy vs Alves and Kampmann, and even though Diaz is done, I'd want to see him vs Kampann as well. There are so many exciting fights that don't get made. Condit v. Alves is another one. I think a reason it doesn't happen is that the WW standings are strange with people losing bad matchups or bad decisions - for example Kampmann would be higher if he didn't lose vs Sanchez whom he wrecked imo.

edit; i'm a kampmann fan but also like Alves - this is a great matchup because I have no idea who will win. I think Alves will either go for the KO early or take it to the ground and try to keep it there. Kampmann could get caught, but he could also control the standup with his 1-2's ... Alves leg kicks are brutal

I think it's a good style matchup for Alves. Alves generally struggles against guys who put the pressure on him and push him back against the cage and take him down (GSP, Fitch, Story). Kampmann is more of a counter striker and also always seems to back himself into the cage at various points in his fights, and that could lead to real trouble when facing a striker like Alves.

I think it'll be Benavidez vs. Johnson in the finals, but I'm hoping that McCall wins. The UFC needs a personality to help sell these fights at the lower weight classes and McCall is definitely one of the more interesting personalities in all of MMA. His mustache is awesome also.

That Shawn Jordan/Oli Thompson fight was sweet. Jordan was tagging him with some heavy shots. I've got to keep an eye out for this guy.

Good prelims. I'm enjoying watching these extra fights. Now I can see a guy win impressively, keep his name in the back of my mind, then remember it as he moves up the ladder. There's no way that the main card doesn't deliver. The flyweights and Alves-Kampmann should absolutely deliver. Court McGee, we'll see. I haven't seen him fight in awhile.

Hard for me to pick a winner here. Like I said, I haven't seen Court fight in awhile. I recently saw Philipou fight and win impressively. I'll roll with the Long Islander Philipou.

Philipou 29-28? I had Philipou winning the first 2 rounds for sure. Court was more aggressive in the 3rd round. I'd be surprised if McGee wins by decision here.

Court should never win this fight.

Edit: gave him the 3rd I guess, but I think it should have been 30-27. Court was never a threat.

I've really been looking forward to Creepy vs. Mighty Mouse. I hope this fight delivers.

                            That was a great fight.

                            I think it's 29-28 Johnson but...it's damn close.

I agree, but I would have given a 4th round.

I need to watch that fight again, but I had Johnson winning the first two rounds as well. I don't think it was a robbery at all.
