UFC Undisputed 3 Demo Details Arrive, Demo Available Tomorrow

The UFC Undisputed 3 demo arrives tomorrow and IGN has posted all the details.

In the demo, players will be given two fighters from each the UFC and Pride rosters. Representing the UFC side, Light Heavyweight champ Jon Jones and legend Anderson Silva face off, while the Pride FC side gives you Quinton "Rampage" Jackson and Wanderlei Silva. Mirror matches are in for the demo, so feel free to pit each of the fighters against themselves.

The demo only provides access to quick exhibition matches, so you can't check out the game's career mode, create-a-fighter features, or more of what the game will offer aside from straight-up fights. However, the demo does give you a first shot at the game's updated combat system. You're prompted to choose between Pro and Amateur controls right when you start the demo. Amateur controls allow you to perform transitions more easily with the right thumbstick, making the game less unwieldy for newcomers to the UFC fold.

Anderson/Jones will be interesting. I'm hoping this year Anderson has a good sub game, because iirc the in 2010 he didn't.

played pride on sim, i'm back in, will be buying. standup at least vs CPU is better than 2010

I may actually end up enjoying pride mode the most!!! we'll see.

          never even attempted a submission

edit... bit concerned with rampage's boxing - the ducking hook is still overpowered, probably not a deal breaker though

Standup feels better. The jab and quick strikes actually matter a little. The CPU is still throwing way too many strikes, even on simulation mode. I dunno if this is just because there's only 1 round or not, but I feel like it's probably not. Can anyone speak to this?

I haven't done the numbers, but could it be that the CPU aggressiveness is due to the accelerated clock?

Whatever y'all say but I love the demo. The only thing I hate is the submission game, which is like you-a-cat-chasing-a-mouse stupid mini octagon game. I prefer button mashing when it comes to chokes or submissions, but that's just me.
