Ok, I seem to have hit my stride defensively and am able to keep range much more effectively now. I think a big part of it in using Anderson against Bones is that Bones' reach is just so friggin huge.

So on experienced, Im 2/2 on beating Silva, both by TKO. Most of my punches have been 1-2's, and my two times i caught him with a power hook, then cleaned him off on the ground.

Ok, Played on Ultimate difficulty and I was able to strike toe to toe with the AI without it constantly throwing bombs and spamming me with attacks like a rapid dog....

Give me more info on career mode and I am sold.

Just picked Jones apart with strikes 2 fights in a row, mostly quick strikes. Finally rocked him and finished him with a rear naked choke (by accident) lol.

Thats what I'm thinking is the key to the striking. 1-2's then when he drops his guard, go for the home run.

I can honestly see me never even touching UFC mode. Pride mode is flat out amazing.

I'm still on experienced. I just wasn't quite out of range enough when I was circling either. It's hard keeping a giant like Bones out of range, but what can I say, I'm an outside fighter lol.

I simply cannot get enough PRIDE mode. I can't wait for the full version to be released, its gonna be a soccer-kick-to-the-face-fest! Haha.

This demo is getting me super pumped for UFC 143. Who do you guys lik in the Diaz/Condit fight? I've been thinking Diaz all the way, but the last interview I saw with Diaz he looked kinda bummed out and he didn't seem to have his head straight. Still though, hard to go against Diaz in this fight.

I always used to transition in the wrong direction and go from full mount to side control by accident lol.

Does anybody know if event mode/ppv mode were you make your own cards still in the game?

I am thinking of going with amateur myself but it depends on if I stay with ultimate difficulty or not.

I really see no benefit of "pro control"

Maybe I need some more time with the game but overall I did not see a big difference from this game and 2010. admitingly I havent played 2010 in over a year and I played this demo on default settings instead of simulation but I was expecting a bigger improvement considering they took a year off. With that said presenation looks like it has received a face lift, the addition of Pride is adds a new element to the game, and the improvements to career mode could add to the quality of the game.

The huge change from last year to this year is the overhaul of the quick strikes. As a boxer, I am loving it. I'm landing killer combos with jabs, straights, uppercuts, and hooks, all the while staying on the outside and making Jones look silly. I could have a lot of fun with this game.
