Re: Official UFC Undisputed 3 Impressions Thread
First, Go through Career Mode with a fighter solely focusing on building his stats and attributes. There is a somewhat quicker way to to do this:
From MMA-CAF.com
-make him a BW or HW (all divisions have a 370 attributes cap, but having a fighter in BW or HW allows you to have 2 stats at 100, which means more points for later (higher = more skill points in CAF))
- give him MMA base
-do career on ultimate ai
-schedule fights that have the highest amount of actions and then look at credits.
-do drills and sparring in order, so drills 1-7, then sparring 1-7 and repeat (heavy bag, then transition drill etc.)
- save right after a 4 star training, quit and try again if you fail (this is where I kept failing)
- never do camp sessions
- simulate your matches to save time (if u lose, quit and repeat)
- use sponsors properly, if u get new ones use them right away
- I think you'll have the ability to do all training games 5-6x total. (don't do 5x heavy bag, 5x t-drill etc.)
After you've built your career fighter up. do this:
Load your retired career fighter. Edit something of his (I edited his fighting out of in basic information). Overwrite save.
Load up that fighter again, he should NOT be under retired fighters. Go to show all CAfs. He'll be listed as a "retired fighters". Fighter Abilities should still NOT be available. Go to finish and create NEW SAVE. (note you dont have to edit anything)
That new CAF should now be a listed as a "CAF Mode CAF". Load him up now. Completely editable. You can redistribute stats/attributes and technique. He'll only have 12000 technique points available TOTAL (minus whatever moves your career caf had, you can edit them). You can edit name/weightclass/etc etc.Comment

Re: Official UFC Undisputed 3 Impressions Thread
For the record you actually don't have to do all of this. I just finished my career with Ellenburger my rating was an 84. I wanted to try this just to see if it would work and if it did I would be free to create all the 84 or less rated guys that I wanted. Anyway to make a long story short I could edit them all the way to 96. See the attached pic for proof.

Re: Official UFC Undisputed 3 Impressions Thread
I wish you could just set CAF attributes to whatever you want from the jump. It would make the whole process a lot easier. Having to go through career mode every time I want to boost their stats seems like a pain in the ***. I haven't tried career mode yet though, so I'll probably give it a shot to see how this thing works. Maybe it's not as bad as it seems.
Does anyone know anything about the boost packs? How many additional points are you given? How high can your fighter be rated? I don't necessarily want to spend a lot of money on this, but if the CAF looks good enough I don't mind biting the bullet.
Besides being a money grab, I assume part of the reason they did things this way is to prevent people from having super fighters online. However, for those who just want to expand the roster, it definitely sucks.Comment

Also do you have to do a career mode for each guy you want to make?Cincinnati Reds University of Kentucky Cincinnati Bengals

Re: Official UFC Undisputed 3 Impressions Thread
I really enjoyed the career mode this time around. It is really cool to hear Joe Rogan and Mike talking about past things you did. Like last time you faced a opponent, how it ended last time, or what training you been working on. Little touches that go a long way.
I finished 38-10 taking the Middleweight belt two fights before I retired. Came real close to not getting a belt or a title shot. My guy finished as 88 overall so I am happy I can compete with him online.Comment
