Just lost a frustrating match to Rashad Evans in a #1 Contender Match. I had him cut open under his right eye and was probably winning the first two rounds. However, he got me on the ground in the third round with about three minutes to go, rocked me with some GnP, and eventually TKO'd me. I was surprised the ref stopped the fight because I was doing a decent job of blocking his punches after I was rocked. Now, I'm 32-9 with seven fights to go and still haven't gotten a title shot.

Just lost my first UFC exhibition match of UFC 3. Got K'oed in only 19 seconds lol wow. I was Velasquez vs CPU Dos Santos. This game is so much better than the last game, so many different matchups you can choose from too.

Seems a lot of people are playing on Advanced. I just went with what the Career mode tutorial suggested, which was Expert, but I think it may have been the wrong choice. I'm currently 7-7 and still in WFA, jumped from MW to LW because I was getting smoked, now I can't beat guys who are equal to me in ratings (roughly 72ish).

I played a couple Career matches on Advanced and found that I was winning pretty easily. Do the matches get more difficult in Advanced? Am I just wasting my time and sanity trying to grind through the WFA on Expert? Haha, any advice would be awesome!

Oh, along with this, do you guys play Sim or Default energy?

Sim energy always. For career difficulty I'd play on Advanced. The first UFC fight they offer is usually against a fighter rated 10+ points higher than you. And if you win you only get tougher guys to fight. My first UFC fight I got KOd by Brendan Schaub in like 50 seconds.

Did my career on Expert/Sim. Ended up with a record of 46-2.

Yeah I think considering my current 7-7 record in the WFA on Expert I'm gonna reroll using Advanced. I also had just left it on Default energy, but I'll have to try out Sim as well.

I feel like my fighter is the greatest after reading about some of your Careers on here lol.

My fighter is a 6'5 Light Heavyweight fighting out of Brooklyn New York. He's got one of the best all around games in MMA today, right up there with Anderson Silva, Jon Jones, and Jose Aldo. Alonzo "Lights Out" Walker started his career 17-0, including the final five of those being a unanimous decision against Ryan Bader, and impressive knockouts of Shogun Rua, Rampage Jackson, and Forest Griffin, and an amazing first round TKO of Dan Henderson in the #1 contender fight. Too bad Jon Jones was the incumbent, even though I gave him an amazing five round fight, he rocked me midway through the fifth round (at this point I believe I was winning this fight 3 rounds to 1), put me on the ground, and eventually put me in a guillotine chock which I just coudn't get out of.

So now I gotta work my way back up. Just defeat Lyoto Machida rather impressively with a Knockout of the Night Performance, and now I got a date with Rashad Evans to see which one of us gets the rematch with Bones.

i know ya already covered this but to maximize the points u put the difficulty on expert and just sim all the fights and run all the training on auto? anything else i need to know?

i already have a career mode on middleweight where i do everything but i guess im gonna have to start another one.

Is anyone finding more fights going the distance on default energy than on sim? I played on sim for a bit and hadn't had many fights go the distance compared to default energy. Could just be me but just was wondering what you guy's think. Thanks.

I'm determined to find a way to use Fighter Share and be able to edit their ratings with as minimal effort as possible. Tonight I tried retiring a fighter after only one fight and then using the Super CAF glitch. He ended up rated 84. Hell, most of the guys that I want in the game are probably rated around that. Now the question is how much of career mode do I have to get through in order to get the CAF to 88-90.

I'm going to screw around with it more tomorrow. My plan is to put the difficulty on Ultimate, pick the fight with the most cred and sim everything. Win or lose I'm going to retire after about 10-15 fights and see where my where I can get his rating to.

You still won't be able to apply the glitch to fighters from Fighter Share. The problem is in order for the glitch to work the fighter has to come from a copy of your career fighter. The glitch doesn't apply to newly made fighters or Fighter Share fighters.

Do you play career mode? If so what is your record sitting at playing on advanced? Does it feel balanced?
