"The A.I is not over aggressive like in the demo i think this was slightly tuned before release" ....I did not say it was "Fixed" i said it seems to be slightly tuned (plays different then the demo) and i have not played com vs. com in the demo or retail yet.No doubt that the game needs some patch work As for posting "proof" of the game to prevent hyping ect that i understand. At the end of the day im not some 15 year old kid on his computer trying to hype up a video game. I am just here to answer any questions you guys have. Also i noticed on my career it has me at 210 but when making my fighters body i had it at 230 ??? I am a heavyweight maybe a glitch that will need fixing or i overlooked something. "plus the reversal fest in ultimate and even still on lower settings" : I dont know about com vs com but when i play vs the computer its not a reversal fest. You do not just sit there and try and block his transitions you have to use feint transitions and mixing it up with punches ect.

Now the #1 concern among most in here is the CPU AI. It was completely one dimensional last year and the difficulty was hard to adjust to a good spot. One level was to easy to KO the CPU, then if you up the difficulty the CPU became impossible to submit. So you had to pick your poison. Have you noticed it possible to lock in a submission on a CPU AI on higher levels??

YES I LOVE THE NEW SUB SYSTEM ! I can count on 1 hand how many subs i had pulled off in ufc 10 on expert everything was knockout arcade some decisions once in awhile but mainly knockouts. I cant tell you how good it feels to get subs in this game just as good when you get the knockout (most fights go to decision). Cro Cop has deadly kicks one head kick by him could be lights out. There is not many names for when you create your fighter which was a letdown even the most common names are not on there. In game progress under records the game keeps track of things like ( winning streak,losing streak,fastest win time,total touch gloves,forfeit,best mouth piece flying distance (lol), total cuts & total bloodshed... You have things like success rate which has all the punch/elbow,knees,transition ect..... total round time,total play time, number of fighters that cleared title mode,title defends,number of times career mode cleared..........YOu have your totals for example takedown attempted/takedown gained... Also your win percentage (ko/tko/decision/draw) and it shows a percentage graph......In all these categories your have (vs. com/offline/online).... ....All that is in Game Progress on the main menu.

Of course the much easier way to prove it is put your GT on your account then we could just hit that little (X) on the side and see it there.

I always thought proof to a Mod was required before posting impressions on an early release? Has that changed?

If that's the case i will not give any more impression on the game i did not see it anywhere posted on this website about proof although another member did mention that's how everyone does it on OS.

Just played it at Best Buy and while the Aggressive AI is still there its not even close to as bad as 2010. I ran a couple of test cases. First Aldo (me) vs. Mendes (cpu) on Advanced and Simulation.

The Pros: Mendes fought like Mendes. He attempted 3 takedowns in round 1 and 4 in round 2. He actually would set his takedowns up with strikes instead of just blindly shooting for double legs. I fought like Aldo so I was firing leg kicks at him.

To prove that the aggressive AI has been toned down there was a 40 second period where no strikes were thrown. Mendes was hit with a three round combo, backed up to the middle of the cage and waited for me to approach him. I would like to see alot more of that but I was glad to see it.

The Cons: Aldo's leg kicks arent powerful enough. I landed a ton of kicks and only got 38% damage through round 2. Mendes is a little too good with his hands and again even the toned down Aggressive AI was to much for him. Mendes should never walk me down.


In the end, I like the game. The graphics are incredible and the AI is decent enough (Mendes GNPd Aldo in the second) to be a challenge without feeling like cheating.

I could be wrong but just to be safe I would if I were you. Could be because it's not a Major release like MW or Madden that it's not that big of a deal??

I just had a good 3 round battle nakamura vs. brilz ill see what i can do about posting a video so you guys know i really do have the game. Show some of my highlight reels in my favorites list or something.

He does have the game because I have it and everything he has been saying is accurate (about items you can purchase, modes etc.). My one concern is that it appears you can't create a fighter, aside from career mode, unless you are connected to xboxlive. Perhaps you have to achieve some career accomplishment first. As far as impressions go, I find it okay, but not mind blowing and not dramatically different from prior. I have been playing expert and may need to increase the difficulty. On expert,though, the comp VERY rarely goes for takedowns or clinches. So far my career has just been stand up with the comp until I choose to take him down. I've knocked him out in the first round in almost all of my 12 fights. I'm hoping changing difficulty will improve the variety of comp moves. It's a pain in the *** to manage sponsors and you have to buy every piece of clothing first before you want to apply it. I have had my copy since Tuesday.

Sorry, I was wrong on the create a fighter. It prompts you about being on xboxlive, but you can just ignore that and make a fighter. Missed it the first time through.

BIG difference on next difficulty level. I got owned in two exhibition matches with me as Ben Henderson and comp as Dunham. Was much harder to strike comp. He blocked more and got off first more. He took me down twice. He clinched. He put me against the cage. He reversed me when I was on top. I got knocked out with ground and pound midway through round 2 the first time and choked out in 1.5 minutes in the rematch. Looks like I'm going to have to hit the tutorials for the subtleties of the clinch and ground game to survive. Much more enjoyable experience. Should have changed difficulty sooner, but its always fun to be knocking guys out instead of getting knocked out ;p I hope I can improve enough to make it competitive at this level.

I'm thinking about getting it, but don't know if the price will drop at all if I wait a month or so(I might just get it when I'm getting MLB, or wait until spring to get it). What do people on here think?

It will definitely drop online at amazon or similar. With it not being a yearly release, I will pick it up if they patch the AI enough.
