Re: UFC 3 - Excel Spreadsheet
=(Y3/(I3+J3+K3))-A3*-1 ... This is the original
=(-Y3/(I3+J3+K3))-(A3*-0.15)-(L3*0.02) ... This is my version
I made the fighters rank count for less (so someone who's not a title holder can still possibly be in top 7) by changing from -1 to -0.15. You can adjust this number however you like or keep it at -1. And the last part is what incorporates the fighters streak. Again, you can play with the numbers and adjust them however. The only thing that would be better is if it changed the fighter's streak automatically, but as it stands you have to change them manually. Which isn't all that bad if you do it after every couple fight cards.
Also, there is a lot of fighters on the spreadsheet that are not in the game or they are DLC.Last edited by mountaindew77; 03-06-2012, 03:54 AM.Gamertag: TheDewComment

Re: UFC 3 - Excel Spreadsheet
ELO takes the fighters rating into account. Say you have a guy ranked #8 vs. a guy ranked #4. If the #8 guy wins, his rank will increase significantly while the #4 guy's rank will decrease significantly. If the #4 guy wins, his rank will not increase very much, and likewise for the #8 guy.Comment

Re: UFC 3 - Excel Spreadsheet
well i gotta tell ya taht im really thankful to you for putting this up!
However i do have alot of trouble with it...
I read your explanation on page 3 on how to add new fighters and what to consider while doing it but I just cant get it done.
Im a total excel noob to be honest...
So for example, I wanted to start off by adding Mark Hunt to the heavyweight division, so what I did was I just entered his name into the G18 cell on the rankings section.
Then I went to the Master Section and there I tried to copy line 137 to line 138 by right clicking on the "137" and choosing "copy"
then i right clicked on the "138" and pasted it.
So now, I have in line 138 the same line as in 137 with Travis Browne's data.
So here goes, when I now click into the first cell, the ranking cell and type in "18" since thats his position in the rankings section, the code gets lost.
Same with his record, when I type it in, the formula/code that is shown above the table will be replaced by the numbers/text that i just typed in.
So my guess is, that im doing it all wrong, but how can I enter new information without it replacing the formula?
Im quite lost....Comment

Re: UFC 3 - Excel Spreadsheet
After you paste the formula's manually type in Mark Hunt's name in Column B. The ranking in Column A will update once you do that. You will also have to update Hunt's record in rows S-T.
or instead of copying and pasting you could just go to row 138 and in column A hit "Ctrl + D" on your keyboard. That will pull the formula from the cell above it. Type in Hunt's name in Column B and then hit Ctrl + D in the remaining cells on that row.
I hope that helps. My 2K17 Boston Celtics MyLeague

Re: UFC 3 - Excel Spreadsheet
thanks alot for your answer!
It helped me but only to a certain degree...
I dont really know what the problem is now, I started to do it like you told me and at first it worked, when I entered the fighters name in the b column it would automatically set the ranking no. in column A.
However, when I started to type in the names of guys who are at rank #26 or higher, it doesnt work anymore... it just says #NV then...
what do I need to change in order for it to understand that there are more than 25 ranks?
Here is a screenshot so you can better understand what im talking about

Re: UFC 3 - Excel Spreadsheet
Dude....i took your excel file then put it on steroids.
*Improved and simplified ranking system that give extra value to fight bonus and win streaks.
You will need to input win streaks only into ranking and sort.
Trust me when I say that you will ALL love what I made. The only problem is I dont know how to upload it. If someone can tell me how to upload an excel file then I will get it to you all.Comment
