Roy Nelson baffles me to no end. Is the guy lazy or just stupid?? He has elite level JJ to the point that most MMA HWs wouldn't be able to deal with yet he stands and bangs it out. The fools that come up with the ratings for Undisputed 3 obviously base their ratings on what guys have done in the octagon, which is fine except when you give a guy with JJ credentials like Nelson, mid 70s in submissions. He subbed Frank Mir in a grappling tourney In 2003 when I believe they were purple belts, he also beat Monson, who in the grappling world is close to a legend. Granted, a pure grappling match 9 years ago means nothing in MMA now but hell, if he was that good on the ground in 2003 he would be light years ahead of anyone on the ground at HW other than Mir and Big Nog and maybe Cain because if his wrestling.

Honestly, with the chin he has.. if he works on his cardio a little more (which I think we can all say it was greatly improved in his last fight), I think he'll be able to get into contention for a shot at the title. I'm not saying he'll ever win one with Bones at the top, but I think with that chin and the improved cardio, he'll be in the mix.

I have to agree. If the HWs cant KO him, especially when he gets gassed I surely dont see anyone at LHW putting him out and surely nobody will submit him.
