It's easy to say Bones would murder most anybody, but what fight is left for him at 205 after Henderson and Gustafsson? He already said he wouldn't fight Anderson Silva.

    Bones vs Belfort in Brazil.

I thought you left. I was happy.
Since you are just proposing ridiculous matchups, how about BJ Penn vs Jones? He survived against Machida so he will be fine again Jones.

      Lombard would be interesting.
      Weidman would destroy him.

You mad because I don't agree with everything you and your friends say? I could care less what you think of me, but onto your point - since when did B.J. Penn say "I'm not afraid of Jon Jones." Or that he was considering a move to 205? Never, sorry.

          Not at all.
When did Vitor say he was going to 205? If I recall, he has lobbied openly for another shot against Anderson, nothing about an attempt to go back to 205. So you are just proposing a matchup that is not going to happen, much like I did.

A Rua rematch which Shogun would deserve with a win or two more since he fought Jones with only 5 weeks notice.

Vitor hasnt fought at LHW in 5 yrs and his biggest win at 205 is over Couture (because of a cut caused by the side of a glove) in 2004. This is the guy you want fighting Bones?

How is Vitor already top 5? Who has he beat at LHW?

I just explained earlier that Rua or Gustaffson could be next for Jones. Or they do the Jones/Silva superfight and let LHW develop some new contenders.

Lol @ Vitor being top 5 in LHW if he moves up, even though he isn't a top 5 MW atm.
In any order, top 5 at LHW is: Jones, Shogun, Henderson, Machida, Evans
Vitor doesn't beat any of them now.

When I think of potential opponents for Jon Bones, all I'm thinking is "what could be a fun fight?" Because Jones is probably going to finish them, no matter who it is; so why not give Vitor a shot? He had the balls to throw his name in the hat, and I respect him for doing so.

I don't see the Silva super-fight happening, and I don't believe anybody currently in the UFC's 205 division will beat Jon Jones.

If we're talking about someone who could be a legitimate threat to his title, Daniel Cormier said he would drop down to fight Bones when Cain Velasquez was champ.

                      Actually......

Chael Sonnen is considering moving up to 205 and wants to make a run at Jones title.

                      &

BJJ world champion & former M 1 global 205 champion Vinny Magalhaes is back in the UFC.

                      &

Anthony "Rumble" Johnson is fighting at 205 now and is only a couple more wins away from being back in the UFC.

But even with Rumble out of the immediate future, Chael and Vinny are two legit threats to Jones title with both them probably getting a title shot before 2013 is over with.

Chael will have no better luck against Jones then he had against Silva. The big difference is Jones doesn't have the hole in his wrestling like Silva.

Vinny is another guy who got a ton of wins outside the UFC and everyone overrates. This guy beat nobodies in M-1 and now he's a threat for Jones? If I'm Jones I'm more concerned about young guys like James TeHuna than a guy like Vinny who already washed out of the UFC once.

And Rumbleweight? Lets see if he can make 205 before we start talking about him.
