Wow. My respect for Anderson is off the charts (it was pretty high already). How about Machida refusing the fight with Jones at UFC 152? I thought he was crazy for declining the fight on 8 days notice. LMAO at Machida suggesting the fight happen at UFC 153 in Brazil. Are you serious???

Machida is more understandable, He as filled in short notice for title shots twice already. He deserves to have a full camp on that merit alone. Plus he wasn't scheduled to be booked until after the Henderson jones bout. which at the earliest would have been in November, but more likely December or after. He wasn't the one already booked to a card, and had a full training camp, and declined the fight because of a change of opponent. He knows this is likely his last shot at the title. Coming in at anything less than 100% is out of the question. The only risk is if Henderson heals quickly, and gets a shot in Nov/Dec, Machida would likely have to take another fight in the meantime. Taking the Jones fight on a short camp could mean he wont reach his physical peak in time. I don't knock Machida for passing. He bailled the UFC out twice, once when Rampage decided the A team movie was more important than his fighting career, and again when Evans went down with injury. Machida deserves his full camp this time around.

U have that backwards. Machida has never stepped in on short notice. He's actually turned down short notice fights several times. When Rampage decided to do the A-team, they cancelled the fight and had Evans fight Silva two months later. The only time u could say he stepped in was when he faced Evans for the belt because rampage was hurt in the Jardine fight. He still had 2 mos to prepare for that fight though.

I'm not saying that's what I want to do right now. A lot depends on what happens between Cain and Junior dos Santos. [Moving to Light Heavyweight] is a potential plan B if Cain becomes champion again, which I think he will. Imagine that: Me and Jones standing across the cage from one another. That would be crazy because you know I'm putting him on his back.

Why does anyone do anything? Because they can. If I had the leverage at my job that Bones has right now, I'd cherry pick my assignments too. Dana can get as mad as wants but until someone beats Jones, that's all he can do. All in the game.

Chael Sonnen's signature trash talk has inspired a new special at Mean Street Pizza, the restaurant the UFC fighter co-owns in West Linn.

The "Jon Jones" pizza -- which according to the restaurant's poster is "loaded with chicken and full of cheese" -- is named for the UFC light heavyweight champion who recently refused to fight Sonnen, a decision that led to the cancellation of UFC 151 originally scheduled for Sept. 1.

Sonnen has taken verbal jabs at Jones in his usual way, but the pizza is a first. The restaurant's poster urges people to hurry and buy it, "before our chicken runs out and we have to cancel." The pizza comes with a six-pack of beer and is available for delivery, according to the poster, so people can "avoid a DUI." Jones was arrested for a DUI in May.

On Saturday, Mean Street Pizza shared the poster on its Facebook page with a note: "Dare you to share this..." The post has received nearly 100 "likes."
