Alan Belcher seems unlikable.
On Okami:
"Every second we’re on the feet, I’m going to be bringing the pain to him. I’m going to make him not want to be in there with me. I want it worse than him, I want this win worse than any fight, ever. If he can’t get me down, he’s going to be crapping his pants. Whenever I hit him, he’s going to realize when he looks in my eyes that I want it a lot more than he does and he’s just going to be the best he can just fighting off his instincts. His heart’s not really going to be in it because he’s going to feel my heart and my ferocity. He will be scared."
Belcher has been targeting brash Brit Michael Bisping for some time, but the fight has never come together. Belcher says you have to look no further than Bisping to find the reason why.
“He had the chance to fight me a while back, when he fought Brian Stann. That was between me and Brian Stann, and don't let anybody lie to you, there was one person that made that decision and that was Michael Bisping,” Belcher told MMAWeekly Radio recently.
“I pick the hardest fights, the fights that get you excited. It's a big difference fighting me and Brian Stann, and he fought Brian Stann. That tells you one thing.”Comment

I don't see anything wrong w/ what he said. I especially like how he sounded about Okami. Dude sounds hungry.Originally posted by MoJust once I'd like to be the one they call a jerk off.Originally posted by MoYou underestimate my lazinessOriginally posted by Mo**** ya

Re: UFC 155 - JDS v. Cain 2 - Dec 29
Him saying Okami will be crapping his pants and that Okami will be scared struck me a bit. Then when he was talking about Brian Stann v Bisping, it just seemed like he was coming off a bit douchey like Stann isn't a worthy fighter and that Belcher was that much above Stann as a fighter.
In the game of talking yourself up and marketing yourself I don't see anything wrong, I just don't like the way he's doing it. Partly because I feel he has no reason to put himself so high above Stann. I've argued for Belcher many times in this forum that he's right up there with the top contenders in the division but at the same time he hasn't done all that much to come off in this manner.Comment

Idk, I see where you're coming from, just didn't take it the same.
Isn't he pretty much telling the truth about Okami?
And I took it as him saying Bisping ducked him as opposed to taking an easy fight.Originally posted by MoJust once I'd like to be the one they call a jerk off.Originally posted by MoYou underestimate my lazinessOriginally posted by Mo**** ya

I see where Ex is coming from. He also had a comment last week complaining about Bisping's potential title shot and how he is being passed over. He completely ignored the fact that he cant stay healthy and has only fought 4 times in 3 1/2 years.Comment

Re: UFC 155 - JDS v. Cain 2 - Dec 29
Then when he was saying it's a big difference from fighting me [Belcher] and fighting Stann, he was basically implying that Belcher is on a different level than Stann. Again it's great that he feels so confident in his game I just felt like it was a shot to Stann who to me is a solid fighter.
If Belcher can get by Okami and then one more contender he will have a strong case as a top contender.. but until then I think these sort of comments put him in a certain light that I don't particularly like. Not the worst comments just comments that make me say, 'come on man'.Comment
