Anyway, below is Diaz flipping off Bendo, something that I didn't see because they would censor it by cutting to a blank screen on Fox. I'm OK with the taunting and trash talking but this was uncalled for.

    NSFW

    Spoiler
If his brother tries that with GSP, because we know he will be on his back the whole time, I hope GSP reaches over and breaks the finger off.

I haven't seen a final number yet, but early reports are that ratings for last night were good.

Edit: 3.41 million viewers is what I've seen reported. UFC should be happy with that.

Bendo shoulda grabbed that finger and snapped it, I hate those no class bitches AKA the Diazs, they're just trash. And do you think Penn knew where he was at after the 1st round?

And, why would Henderson just stand there like a punching bag? The whole point is to avoid strikes, which he did a great job of.
I've never understood fans of certain guys basically disregarding an *** whooping like the one Diaz got because the other guy didn't stand in there and just bang it out, Henderson didn't even look like he had gotten in a fight after it was done, same couldn't be said for Diaz, I'd like to see how his face is looking today....Diaz is not in Hendersons class, nothing more needs to be said.

Also, this was NOTHING like the Condit fight. Hendo was constantly pressuring Nate. He used his wrestling to ragdoll Nate and was constantly striking with him on the ground. I'll never understand the position by the Diaz camp and their fans that if you use any strategy to fight them you arent a "real fighter" or "you were running".
They are great volume punchers and combination punchers, but their footwork his well below average for professional MMA fighters. I wouldn't say they are great boxers, but great at 1 aspect. Their footwork leaves them in bad positions against fighters smart enough to exploit it. However I agree, this fight was NOTHING like the Condit fight.

Bendo absolutely destroyed him here and it was glorious to see. I don't even dislike Nate (I don't like his brother though) and he seemed like he has matured quite a bit from earlier years, but he was manhandled here. I've only seen him dropped one other time from what I remember, against Guillard, and Ben dropped him 2-3 times. I saw a comment that Ben "lay n prayed" him on a different forum and just laughed. That was the complete opposite of lay n pray, he was landing hard shots on the ground at will as well. Thinking about how Bendo put it all together made me wonder who he will fight next.
Pettis, if he beat Cerrone should get the fight, but if Cerrone pulls off the upset he shouldn't. We already saw Bendo dominate him in their second fight. Melendez is right there too, but he should have to have a fight before he gets the shot much like Jake Shields did.

I was somewhat unhappy Rory never finished the fight. He clearly could of ended it several times. He instead choose to continue to just pick BJ apart, but to came off to me almost like he was trying to make it go on longer.

I will say one thing, the kid is extremely technical & talented. I just didn't like he could not finish BJ.

I disagree a little. I don't think he intentionally made the fight go longer. I agree he might have been able to finish, but like his training partner, GSP. He wasn't gonna get wreckless looking for a finish. He took what was there and patiently picked his shots. To BJ's credit He got hit with some hard shots and kept on ticking.

Lets not forget, Penn even though it's obvious he's lost alot, he's still one tough SOB...

True, he kept a level head but come on BJ was barely standing most of the fight. Then when he started "dancing" after BJ was a darn zombie that is when I felt like he was making this go on longer than it should have.

He is talented but if he does not have that killer mentality to go in for the kill when you have it. Against a younger more dangerous fighter I see this coming back to haunt him at some point.

See I saw the "ali shuffle" as an attempt to get Penn to throw a wild desperation haymaker and counter him. I think he made an effort to finish, but didn't force the issue and pull a Carein vs Lesnar, or a Barry vs Kongo

You can claim that once, but Rory did that show boating BS 4 times during the fight. That is the reason why the crowd was booing during the fight and why they booed him while he was getting interviewed after the fight. Everybody in the arena seen what he did and knew he could have ended the fight early but chose not to.

Was at the event Saturday. Awesome experience! Not a huge UFC fan but know a lot of the fighters and it was fun to finally see an event in person. Crowd was awesome, except when they ran out of beer LOL.
