Well Im 0/2 tonight, Penn and Shogun lost and was really hoping they would pull it off, (although Gus fighting Jones is a little more intriguing then Shogun again I suppose) so hopefully I can get a nice ending to the night with a Ben Henderson win.

Dana already said Shogun/Gus was #1 contender fight. So Gus is fighting Jones later in the year for the title.

Don't count on it. If someone starts talking mass trash on Jones and gets under his skin and fans want to see it, Gustafson will get Shafted just like Hendricks did.

Chael Sonnen talked his way into a title shot vs Jones.
Nick Diaz talked his way into a title shot vs GSP.

Both of them are big draws for the UFC, and there were far more deserving contenders in each division.

Someone is mad about Diaz. Lol. I've posted my opinion about both the Diaz and Sonnen fights in other threads so ill leave that alone.

Would be the first fight Jones didn't have a big reach advantage. But after just watching that fight with Shogun, I don't think Gustafson is ready for Jones.

Shogun tagged him multiple times, I think if Jones tags him with a few of those elbows it's done.
