Thank you, Anderson. There was no other choice out there and Weidman is the best choice anyway.

Does anyone see Weidman closing the range and getting it into a grinding fight. His striking and footwork better be improved if he wants to take Anderson into his world.

Right now I see a TKO win for Anderson but I want to hear more about how Weidman has healed from his injury and see how he's recovering.

It may take him a while to warm up to a fight, but Anderson always comes around eventually.

Yes!!! Outside of a fight with Jon Jones this is the fight I want to see for Anderson Silva at this time. Can Weidman strike enough to implement his wrestling? Pumped for this fight!

The question for me is does he have a chin like Sonnen and is Weidman smart enough to rely solely on his wrestling. I'm hoping Chris doesnt get to overconfident about his striking in the Munoz fight and believe he can stay with Silva on his feet.

One other key is Weidman is a better submission grappler than Sonnen and arguably an equal wrestler. Weidman could get Silva to the ground and actually finish him unlike Sonnen.

Agree with you for the most part. I don't think he should be able to out strike Silva, but use his hands and feet enough to get takedowns.

He's 1 for 3 in staying clean in his last fights. Idk...

Meanwhile Feijao I am almost positive was on roids the whole time in SF.

GSP starting some hype. I like it.... I would love some bad blood between he and Silva once they sign the papers to fight....

"I believe [Weidman] is going to beat Anderson Silva," St-Pierre declared to Canada's Sportsnet. "I believe it's a bad matchup for Anderson Silva. It's very bad.

"Not only is he going to beat, I believe he is going to finish Anderson Silva. I believe it's not going to be too long, that fight. This, people will be shocked."
