boring fight, ran away most of the fight again

Mousasi just doesn't have the killer instinct that if he had, he would be a champ

Machida shouldn't get a shot until he finishes or at least stops running and dancing the whole fight against a top competitor, stop with the doing just enough to win

This card was a snore fest until Erick Silva and Jacare fights. Mousassi is such a boring fighter he makes Machida look fun. At least Machida tried to finish. Let Machida fight Jacare.

mousasi was outfought....didnt habe the speed nor the agility.to.compete with machida. But dammm does mousasi have an IRON chin. Those head kicks machida landed would ve knocked most fighters OUT, mousasi didn't even REACT. I thought shogun had a great chin, but mousasi's even better.

I tried to stay awake for this but fell asleep after the Erick Silva fight. I blame the NBA.

You must have missed the first-round knockout of top-10 contender Mark Munoz in his last fight, lol. Machida has won 13 fights in the UFC, and 6 of those have been finishes. He isn't the most exciting fighter, but he's FAR from the most boring. In 19 GSP wins, 7 of those have been finishes just to make a quite comparison.

I'm not a Machida fan, but he gets unfair criticism from the fans because of his style. He's had some of the most dynamic finishes in UFC history, and it was pretty clear Mousasi wanted nothing to do with a striking war last night. Last night's fight wasn't the best, but it was far from the worst. I put about 75% of that on Mousasi. He always seems too calm in the octagon, but last night was 25 minutes of who gives a crap from him. LOL.

As long as both guys are good to go (and they should be), I'd love to see Machida vs. Jacare soon for the #1 Contender's spot for the MW Title. Jacare is just as deserving as anyone for a title shot.

Machida is definitely boring. With the exception of his last fight, nothing is going on before these lockouts happen. I'd rather see a good fight with combos and active striking than a walk around and flash KO.

EDIT: and GSP has been pretty active in his last fights. His and his opponent's face after the fights are proof.

I love Machida, but I hate how he keeps his chin up with his hands down. Every time he gets into an exchange, I feel like he's about to get KO'd. I find myself with my chin down as I watch lol.
