Judge that had it 4-1 needs to never been seen again, though.

Judging in MMA/Boxing is the worst. They need monitors with noise cancelling headphones so we can avoid the crowd aspect in certain fights.

I don't know how someone can say Benson won 4 rounds though, just awful there by that guy.

I had Josh 3-2. But I'm not that mad about the decision. It looks like Gil will be able to wait for a shot against Pettis.

Sucks for Thompson, Henderson is going to force his way back into a title shot soon

I really hate to say this, but I have lost a lot of my fondness for Bendo. He's always been one of my favorites, hell, any one of the WEC mainstays fall under that category, but the way he fights these days just isn't pleasing to watch. It's too much clinch. Too much grind it out.

I hope he either changes the way he operates back to his WEC days (which I doubt) or he just doesn't get back into title contention. I don't think Dana will be too eager to put him into another title shot because Bendo isn't going to sell tickets.

It was just such a boring main event. Not a good look for Bendo, as a PPV draw. I hope Dana agrees.

Cowboy it's time for him to get a top 10 opponent. There are many possibilities, I'd even vouch for a rematch with Nate since it's been 2 years. I'd pay to see any of those potential match ups in the top 10.

Cerrone v. Khabib is very likely at this point now with Gil getting the next title shot.

Sounds good to me. I'd say TJ/Benson would be a decent matchup to make as well.

One thing I forgot is the Aldo angle. If Aldo beats Lamas, could we be looking at a Pettis/Aldo super fight this summer?

Apparently TJ Grant hasn't even been cleared to train due to the concussion. This was according to a report on Jan. 8

I was reading something on Sherdog about that as well. I think that'd be the best fight they could make. You could put Melendez/Khabib as the co-main for the next shot too.

@Ex, I didn't know that. That must have been some concussion for him still not to be cleared.

It would kind of suck for Aldo to cut in line. Suck for the other contenders good for us.

If RDA wins his next match, there are going to be a lot of interesting decisions to make. Lot of contenders

Right now, outside of Melendez and Grant (who knows when he'll be ready) nobody deserves it, and I think you could give Khabib/Melendez a title eliminator match. Assuming Pettis recovers and Aldo gets out unscathed, a summer matchup would be great.
