No GSP or Anderson Silva, does UFC ...

Throw a ton of money at Brock Lesnar? Like him or not, he was the company's biggest draw and his name still carries a lot of weight with hardcore and casual fans. I know he was at 168, so not sure if he and Dana spoke at all.

Brock's played WWE and UFC against each other for years to sweeten his deals, so his being at 168 could've easily been a way to get more money out of WWE, but I wouldn't be surprised if he had that itch to get back in the Octagon. Health-wise, it is a long-shot, but seeing as how Jon Jones and Ronda Rousey are now the two biggest stars in the UFC, it would make financial sense for the UFC to at least consider getting Lesnar to put on the XXXXL gloves again.

At this point, I expect UFC to have Ronda Rousey fight every 3 months since she never really gets damaged in her fights at all. Me personally I wouldn't put money into Brock at all. I would rather bring back Cheick Kongo and Brandon Vera instead.

The might not be big name draws, but you could sign both of them for 4 fight contracts for half the price of a Brock 3 fight contract.

I get what you are saying about skill level, but I'm talking about drawing money, and neither of those guys is going to draw a dime. Lesnar could bring in over 500,000 easy.

Brock will draw a lot, but you will also end up paying him a lot, which will make a big draw a mute point. IMO the UFC don't need a big draw, they need depth and card fillers.

Besides who will Brock fight ? Mark Hunt ? Or somebody else who can't wrestle ? At this point Travis Browne will probably destroy Brock.

He wasnt at 168. That was a rumor and he never came. The UFC should concentrate on building Jones/Rousey/Weidman/Cain instead of throwing money at Brock for 1 or 2 fights max.

So, he was just helping to hype his return to WWE ... sounds about right.

Bert, you can feel free to lock this up. I knew it was speculation at best but did not know he no-showed the PPV.

There will be new stars in the UFC...there is NO worry.

Weidman, Cain, Rousey, Barao, Pettis, Zingano, Gil Melendez ALL have star potential.

The UFC survived after Chuck Liddell lost. It survived after Matt Hughes lost. You can always promot a new star especially if the beat a long standing champion.

What is everyones obsession with a chick that struggles to make 145 let alone 135, and had taken enough steroids to actually start having masculine features. Cyborgs weight division that she already struggles to make is not in the UFC. The talent at that division is thin, and most of the good 145ers in strikeforce dropped as soon as 135 opened up. It was a better fit.
