      Wednesdays being throwing me off.

I'm just not a fan of Anik.

I finally get to see my former college classmate Derek Brunson fight! Hope he keeps his streak going.

Well damn, did well the first 2 rounds. Hopefully he can shake this off and continue to improve.

Brunson had that fight until he got caught. Poor referee in there tonight, Brunson took a lot of extra punishment at the end that was unnecessary.

Yea, I was surprised at how long he let it keep going too.

Brunson looked impressive to me against Romero, he really should have won that fight. Romero looked lackluster and very complacent. It almost seemed as if he was entitled, like he didn't have to work to get the victory. Romero is in for a rude awakening if this is his approach to fights as he moves up the ranks. Sure he will always have that "I won the Silver medal in wrestling in 2000" but he sure does get taken down easily. Brunson took him down and also whoever Romero fought previously took him down. I want to like Romero but right now he just seems to be missing that it factor. I hope he doesn't rely on his physical gifts and his wrestling credentials. He has all the tools to become an elite fighter.

at Cole Miller calling Donald, "Clownboy" Cerrone. They just can't get past their beef. Miller is a funny dude offering to pay for Dolce to help Cerrone cut to 145 for a fight. I'd love to see the matchup, I love bad blood fights but I'd rather not see Cerrone move down to 145.

Nice to see Rockhold bounce back with the TKO win. It was a quick fight so it didn't show me much other than Rockhold has his swagger back. I hope it continues. He called out Vitor and Bisping.

The arena seemed so empty, it was actually really sad looking. Anik and Florian also make the fights they call seem second rate. I think it's time for a change. I would love for the UFC to somehow get "The Voice" or the guy who used to do PRIDE and Strikeforce.

The "feel" of last night felt like amateur fights to me.

Oh you mean Jon "Captain Obvious" Anik? He is awful. Totally drains me listening to him.

I was really wanting Brunson to win that fight. Always root for the home state guys. I hope he isn't ruined after all those elbows to the kidneys. I know it was a lower level type card, but the refs need to be on their toes for all fights. That ref needs to be suspended.

I still say they should bring back Frank Mir. Dude was solid. Brian Stann should also be more available now that his football duties are over until next season.

Hopefully they keep Gilbert Melendez's role limited. He knows what he's talking about, but his voice is horrible. Hard to listen to that for a long period of time.

Derek was a solid wrestler at UNCP when we were there, I think he was a DII All American...I know it's not Olympian level, but he can wrestle.

Once Romero **** his pants, the fight turned in his favor.
