Honestly wasn't impressed with Cowboy there, very fortunate to get the timing right with that jab. Barboza was just so fast and really a blur.

Werdum's continued evolution as a striker has been a marvel. Browne's cardio has always been trash. Disappointed in his performance but also credit due to Werdum. A match with Cain should be at least decent.

Damn. My boy Hapa just got dominated all night. He was gassed after the first and never really took any risks to try and land a KO in the end. Ugh.

Dana White basically criticized Werdum in the post conference for not going for the finish. It was very bizarre and frankly it's getting out of hand. Seriously, the dude may be going nuts. If he isn't going nuts then the way he sees things just don't make much sense. He said Werdum was basically fighting safe.

When he said the same thing about Reem over Mir I kinda (just a little bit) saw where he was coming from. Not sure I can back Dana on this one though. Werdum absolutely smashed an extremely dangerous man in Browne all over the cage.

I think the Werdum I saw tonight could put on a good fight against Cain. I think it's really easy for Dana to talk **** when he isn't the one who is one overhand right from being put to sleep. Travis Browne is a scary dude. It's not like Werdum went full on "lay and pray" or anything. I dunno. I am a pretty big fan of Dana but he does seem to get a little crazier each year.

I thought Tate and Cerrone looked OK, didn't blow me away. I am having a brain fart right now but I was pretty impressed with the guy who fought Tavares looked incredible to me.

As far as Dana, after watching that 20 years of UFC documentary and knowing he is a vital part in where the UFC is today I kind of shrug off most of his comments/antics. As a matter of fact I rarely if ever watch his interviews or post fight conference. He's a promoter so he wants 15/15 finishes and if there isnt a finish then it better be a war.

As much as Id like to root for Liz Girlrilla she is just not getting it done. gets the takedown then does nothing with it. Disappointed to say the least, but Im excitedv to see WMMA evolve more in the future.

Cerone just proved again why you should never count him out. He took some hard shots, walked threw them and then pulled a jab and RNC out of no where. Amazing!!

Four men walked away from UFC on Fox 11 with an extra $50,000 on Saturday night, as Thiago Alves, Seth Baczynski, Donald Cerrone and Alex White were awarded post-fight bonuses.

Alves and Baczynski shared “Fight of the Night” honors, while Cerrone and White were both handed “Performance of the Night” bonuses for their first-round finishes.

I don't really care and prefer when prelim guys get the bonuses but Werdum not getting a bonus is criminal. He beat Travis Browne up for 5 rounds and made him look like an amateur.

Didn't Werdum admit to playing it safe the last couple rounds to lock up the title shot? I thought I read that somewhere, but I could be wrong. If so, then Dana White saying it really isn't that far off. Werdum dominated Browne though, and that's all that matters. If he played it safe the last round or two, so be it. He did what he had to do.

Cerrone impressed me just as much or more than his past fights. He was definitely getting peppered by Barboza, yet still landed the big punch and pounced for the submission. That's almost as impressive as a dominating performance. He's going to be tough to beat with his focus at the level it is right now.

The announcers were right in saying Tate looked almost uninterested. I'm sure she was into it, but she seemed pretty careless and too relaxed the first couple rounds. I agree she won 29-28, but she didn't do much until the last round.

Both Alves and Romero were very impressive, and I'm ready to see Khabib back in the octagon. I want to see someone who can mix it up with him a bit more to see if he has a chin, but so far, he has just rolled through his opponents. He's going to be a force for awhile.

Werdum didn't coast, at least in my opinion. So I don't know where that's even coming from.

Cerrone looked overwhelmed and managed to land a good timing jab. I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt that he timed it but in all honesty it could have been a lucky connect. I don't think he will be all that hard to defeat. Bendo has done it twice, Pettis destroyed him, Nate almost took his soul and RDA handled him as well.

To each his own, lol. Cerrone is admittedly much more focused right now, and it shows. If we discussed all the "lucky" connects, we'd be here awhile. It's part of MMA, Boxing, etc. He's 10-3 in the UFC, he's a tough out any way you slice it.

I understand that but you admitted yourself that Cerrone was getting peppered. That's putting it mildly IMO, I thought he was getting overwhelmed and he looked shell shocked. So regardless if it was a lucky punch or not, he was getting handled in the stand up game.

Cerrone was definitely "focused" when he fought Nate Diaz and Anthony Pettis. When he fought Diaz he was on like a 6 fight win streak and would have given him a title shot with a win. When he fought Pettis, it would have propelled his stock big time. Yeah he's "focused" but I don't see a different Cerrone or a better Cerrone. With Barboza, I got shades of Nate Diaz and I bet Cerrone did too.

I agree with Ex on this one...
In my opinion Cerrone is like the better version of Melvin Gulliard (well, the 2011-2012 Melvin). He looks great against even or below his level competition, then once he gets "above his head" he totally let's you down.... but, the positive is he's always pretty exciting.

To me all Cerrone is a gatekeeper at this point. I mean, if he beats a someone like TJ Grant or Nurmagomedov in his next fight then maybe I would reconsider. However, personally, I think he's already had his chance and I would much rather see guys like Myles Jury, Micheal Johnson and even Bobby Green fight him to see if they're contenders or pretenders. I just don't see Cerrone ever getting the belt over guys like Pettis, Henderson or Melendez, so let him fight the up and comers for paydays. There's no shame in that.
