Typo - The date is June 14, not April 14!

This card won't sell for **** most likely but I think it has an excellent main card. Mighty Mouse is the most skilled fighter in MMA imo, Rory/Woodley winner will be right there for a title shot, Bader/Cavalcante should be a good fight, and there is the battle of the glass chin heavyweights in Schaub/Arlovski.

      Prelims are just awful though.

Just throwing this out there, how do you guys (Aaron) feel about having a running thread on MMA events/news? I feel like every thread just has only like 20 posts.

I see more conjoined conversation if we had one thread that had everything in it rather than individual threads and an MMA Random thread.

Again just throwing it out there

Hmmm....im not sure. On one hand you are right. Many of the events only get 5-6 pages deep. On the other hand when a major fight happens, those threads can become huge and we have some major fights coming up (Weidman/Machida, Jones/Gus, Cain/Wedum)

I do like the current setup organization wise. I've seen a few times where people have come to the forum and realized that an event was scheduled that they didnt know about. That probablu wouldnt happen with one centralized thread.

I'm leaning towards keeping things the same but I welcome any input. If most of the regulars want to change it, I'm willing to do it.

I am very interested in the Rory/Woodley fight. I think the main event will be entertaining as well.

I like Brendan Schaub a lot ever since I started listening to his podcast so I will be looking forward to watching him as well.

I like it this way, able to find cards easier than 1.

1 thing that may be a combination is to make 1 post per month or so with the cards listed there. Also could lock those and have discussion in 1 place?

For some reason my Fox Sports 1 channel shows auto racing where the prelims should be. Hopefully it's an error

I am thinking about buying this card

Before jimmy started saying "my arm is broken my arm is broken" it sounded like he said something to OSP about "three minutes." Twice in a row Jimmo gets injured

Nah Jimmo KO'd someone in his last fight.

That was a terrible fight and Schaub got robbed I think, but considering how bad the fight was I'm not going to complain.

Schaub did get robbed by round scoring, but Schaub also was busted up

So I missed the first 2 rounds of the Schaub fight and my dvr won't let me rewind for some reason. Was that a controversial decision or. Old it have gone either way?

Schaub won round 1 and 3, he had TDs and some control. Schaub got bloodied in the 2nd, but that round was still close as there wasn't much action. In the 3rd, Schaub got the right side of his face messed up, broken jaw maybe. Schaub had ground control for a while and they were both landing some shots, not hard though.

The fight really just lacked volume.

Bader manages to win again, I guess he will always stay in the UFC and just be that guy who wins even though the skill isn't there.
