Weigh-in is on FS1 at 7PM, FOX looks to have changed their programming now to push the live UFC stuff on FS1 more now than FS2. Not sure if the UFC or FOX wasn't happy about FS2. So hopefully that bodes well for more UFC events on FOX. I would love to get to 5-8 PPVs and the rest on TV. UFC could pack those cards and get 1 million per if they don't have to worry about the 13 they have in 2015.

The numbers have been terrible lately and now they raised the prices $5 this year. They are doing good to get 300,000 on the non-top liked/hated fighters.

They only push the Vegas and West Coast weigh ins to FS1 for timing reasons. They can push from their show "America's Pregame". Every other weighin is still on FS2 (Last week's Sweden card was on it."

As for 5 to 8 PPVs, that will never happen. The Fox deal is locked for the next 5 yrs and the UFC receives very little ad revenue from it so most of the money they earn is from the license fee Fox paid. PPV pays too much go from 13 to 8 right now.

Also there numbers wont be terrible for the first month. The Jones fight did well over expectations and was his biggest fight ever. Silva/Diaz is expected to do in the same range. Rousey's fight in Feb will do 500k plus. Even the Hendricks/Lawler 2 fight did 400k plus.

They have Pettis in March. Jones/Johnson in May. Cain/Werdum in June and Aldo/Conor in July. If they remain injury free, they are in for a big early 2015.

I know the UFC won't cut PPVs, but if they are putting on a ton of low quality PPVs with 200,000, they would be better off combining a few of them and 3-4x that 200,000. Injuries are really hurting them and 13 PPVs is too many with all the other cards they have.

Gastelum was 9lbs over. I hope that is because he had to stop cutting and rehydrated. He needs to be forced to hire Dolce or move up. I guess the UFC could maybe force him to make a set weight 2-3 weeks before the fight without any cutting and if not, he gets replaced.

Lineker win or lose is done at 125.

Dana White is forcing both of them to move up a weight class. IMO Dana White should have started forcing fighters to do this YEARS AGO.

Combining is the same as cutting. The problem with that theory is that stacked under cards have never automatically equaled higher sales. What matters is the main event when it comes to sales.

Look at the top 10 ppv cards of all time. Only ufc 100, 168 and 92 are stacked cards with good fights up and down the main card. The rest are ones with great main events.

You can even discount 100 and 168 because most people bought those cards because of the Mir -Lesnar and Silva/Weidman rematches.

well that is going to be tested at 184 there is nothing on the rest of the card and Dana is going to find out if Rousey is a true draw or not

Some entertaining fights so far. It's clear that none of the top women have a chance if Cat doesn't win. They are just not that good at fighting.

Silva running from a welterweight for 5 rounds, yawn.

yep boring fight, based off that, Silva just needs to have super fights that people want to see, but no more title shots

Both guys just wanted to counter punch. Nobody really wanted to lead.

There's a wild wings right across from where I work so I got to run over and see the last 4 rounds. Okay fight, Diaz just taunted more than he attacked.

I also went 10/11 and 4 perfect in my first ever UFC pick em

And that is diaz's fault. He's never been a counter puncher before but he became one tonight. Anderson was just fighting like he always does.

Diaz was a scared homie tonight.

How the hell was it scored 50-45 by 2 judges? I had Diaz winning round 2, and round 1 was close.

Maybe they weren't fans of all the clowning Diaz was doing.
