I heard they haven't sold out the stadium yet. I feel like maybe Nate had planned something but I definitely don't think Conor or Dana were in on it. You can't have Conor throwing cans at crowds like that.

Isn't he just doing what he has always done? You really think Conor is going to let Nate do to him what Conor did to Jose? Conor is just barking back. He has always barked back. People act like it wasn't Nate making the first move.

Honestly, I want Conor to win So Bad. Like, Bad...Bad.

        Buttttt....

I don't think it is going to happen. I think the extra time off (being pulled from UFC 200) is a blessing, though. I think that was way too soon. We will see if Conor has grown enough to make up the difference since last time.

Bottom line is, though, that if I were in Vegas I would put all my gambling money on Diaz. I just think he is a terrible matchup. Conor probably can't submit it, probably can't knock him out, and will have a hard time out pointing and out cardio-ing him for five rounds. I think if Conor can go five rounds and make it competitive, then long-term that is OK, you can salvage that. If he gets finished again I think that is a bad look going forward...

Will be fun to watch though!

Of course it will be fun to watch!

Win or lose I don't want to see Conor at Featherweight, but don't see him doing well against the top lightweights. Maybe Ferguson and RDA.

I am a fat, out of shape loser, so I admit it sounds pretty corny of me to say stuff like this, but I always wondered if Conor could just maybe make some lifestyle/diet changes to make the 145 cut much more healthy and realistic. I feel like he really isn't THAT big of a dude, body wise/frame wise.

Again, I am not expert. My diet is Burger King and Taco Bell, so who knows. As far as 145 vs 155, yeah it is a tough call. If he loses on Saturday do you throw him a top 155er, and if he loses that (for a third straight loss) what then?

Re: UFC 202: Diaz vs McGregor II (Aug. 20th)

I'm fairly in shape but disabled, it's crazy hard to change body type, but I'm 6'1 with 80" reach and 170. Crazy hard to change body type for me.

When I was in great shape taking allowed peds in military (before they were banned) it would have been easy to cut to 170 and weigh in next day at 190. If crazy supplements are allowed it would have been easy to change weight from 170ish to 205 in a month or so.

With my body type is I get much less than 170 even when I lifted I lost a lot of strength.

I'm no pro athlete, but when deployed I was on a crazy amount of supplements, had free endless food, and was at gym probably 3 hours a day, not including 1.5 hours of PT in morning.
Long story short if Conor reduces body size a decent amount of power will leave, imho.

Keep in mind I didn't have pro coaches, just muscle heads coaching me.

Anyone watch the press conference? Hilarious, Conor looked punked out. Lucky Nick didn't beat him down, lol.

                Nate wins this conference.

I guess i was late to the party, but i just saw the press conference and it looked kinda staged but then real. I don't know what to make of it. Probably just trying to sell ppv buys.

Conor showed up 30 minutes late, Nate left after Conor got there

                      Flying water bottles. lol

Honestly I'm not to pumped for this fight, sure it's a cool fight but once was enough for me.

Side Note: I'm still gunna order the fight.

It's better than a shoe, lol. Build up to this fight was almost non-existent, now there is buzz, but not nearly like first fight.

                        I'll be watching

Vegas UFC fights typically dont sell out if they arent holiday weekend fights. I went to Conor/Aldo and there were a few (very expensive) seats available the day of.

I'm just not hyped for this fight. Just don't see myself paying $80 for a immediate rematch main with literally nothing on the line IMO. In theory Glover vs Rumble should be great, but without Jon Jones the light heavyweight division is meh.

DC at this point is not interested in risking the exciting fights. He'll smother every top contender with relative ease.(it's his health on he line so I get it.) So a #1 contender fight means you'll just be on your back in a championship fight.

How can you not like DC? He is such a small lil chubby guy with missing teeth that has rare power who can pick anyone up and toss them around like a rag doll.

I am the biggest DC fan there is, Olympic wrestlers have a special place in my heart and watchin him during strike force days as a fat HW was pretty funny.

DC is what a Champion should be, not the horrible person named Jon Jones, but hey if you like guys who can't get out of there own way more power to all Jon Jones fans out there.

                                DC THE REAL CHAMP!
