never heard that before. I don't really think anything positive or negative about him, except some compassion for such bad luck with fights. I wish all the fighters had more financial security.

Exactly. No sympathy for this bum. Dude still lives in his parents house! He has been paid for 4 fights he hasn't even fought, because hes buddies with Dana. Other fighters have had fights cancelled and weren't paid for them...

Why do I have the feeling this main event might be a decision, But I'm going with De Randamie on this one. I think she might be just a lil to aggressive and nasty for Holy Holm.

Holy Holm to me just looks like there's no power when she strikes. Everything just feels so technical and detailed that it's costing her fights instead of being a lil more aggressive and moving forward. I dunno something about her style I really don't like.

Now that there's all this promotional video up for this event, I'm starting to get really excited for this card. The main card is STACKED from top to bottom.


Anderson Silva vs. Derek Brunson
Very interesting stylistic match up. Im curious to see what Silva shows up, AND what Brunson shows up. I love Silva, and i'm really hoping we see some vintage Silva magic in this fight, but Bruson has that power to put anyone lights out and can cover a lot of distance with his blitz. I feel this is either gonna be Silva - Weidman 1, or Silva - Forest. I'm actually nervous to watch this one. haha. I really don't wanna see Silva get starched.

Ronaldo Souza vs. Tim Boetsch
At first I thought Jacare would wakl right through Boetsch, but now I think Boetsch might have more of a chance than people think. Dude is a HUGE beast, can take tons of punishment, and has unreal strength and power. I still think Jacare takes it, but it's a more interesting fight than I had originally given it credit for.

Jared Cannonier vs. Glover Teixeira
Man this is gonna be a war. Both of these guys are powerful beasts. I'm curious to see if Glover takes it to the ground to utilize his superior BJJ or ops to Stand & Bang. Glover's favorite fighter Is Mike Tyson, and I feel like he's gonna try to bang it out. Cannonier proves in his last fight to be a straight beast, so this is gonna be a fun one!

Silva vs Brunson is a hard fight to pick. All Brunson does is blitz with his hands down in every fight and we all know what Silva can do when your hands are down and he's doing nothing but moving backwards counter striking. I have a feeling Brunson might go the D.C. way and take the old man down and just sit on him.

Souza vs Boetsch I think is just going to be a first round sub or knockout of Boetsch. I don't think this fight will be even competitive. Souza is on a different level but this mma and you never know.

Cannonier vs. Teixeira is going to be fun. I'm going with Cannonier because he is going to put to much pressure on Glover. I don't think it's going to be a knockout but it might be a tough 3 round decision.


Side Note: I've decided I'm going to order the PPV. I wasn't going to but said **** it. Should be fun night Saturday. Also the Brooklyn crowds are amazing. I love when WWE goes to Brooklyn. The crowd just pops when you put on good shows but will boo the crap out of you if it's even close to boring. New York crowds are awesome.
