Honest question: Do you guys think Weidman was winning the Romero fight before the vicious KO? I have heard different opinions on this

DC is a slight underdog. Is there any reason I shouldnt bet on him? I love Rumble but I cant see him doing enough to keep DC from grinding his way to a win.

I can't believe DC isn't the favorite going into this fight, even though I definitely want Rumble to win. Only things that might hurt DC is that fairly sure he hasn't been training with Cain, I don't think Luke has been to the gym much either. DC hasn't fought much recently, his last win was that meh performance against Silva were he was stuck in lockdown most of the fight. Of course DC has been pretty active on social media recently posting things that don't involve training. Every time I've seen that leading up to a fight that fighter ended up losing, but since I don't gamble I haven't been paying much attention

It's the same reason I think he was an underdog last time. Rumble has power to end it with one punch and DC has to get inside to win the fight. Rumble will have plenty of chances to connect. DC has the path to a win though.

I know this ain't the best strategy, but DC does get acceptable to takedowns. The last couple of his fights besides the Silva fight he has been taken down. Even in the 1st fight Rumble took him down.

I dunno maybe we see a more calm Rumble who won't come out blazing and maybe he might actually try and wrestle or just lay on DC for a lil bit.

I doubt it happens, but you never know.

For some reason DC is getting some bad luck just trying to defend his damn belt, but thank god he made weight.

Lots of people and writers think DC didn't actually make weight.** The circumstances are extremely peculiar.** Especially since Rumble came in under weight,* which was the same under that DC originally weighed over.

Bracing himself on a towel definitely effected his weight as well.** Was surprised athletic commission let him hold onto towel.
