He was tired, he gassed after round 1. All Edson did was move backwards. That's why I think Tony and Conor pick him apart with movement and timing.

Wonder if Holm will be able to stay on the outside. Also wondering if her increase in mass will give her some power that she usually doesn't have.

Not so much Tony(he's not that great of a striker imo), but Conor for sure would destroy him standing. He's way to technically sound and skilled on the feet. But the thing that makes Khabib so dangerous is that grappling. We saw Kevin Lee damn near maul Tony on the ground in the first and Conor is suspect off his back and I wouldn't doubt at all Khabib could dominate both of them there. It's basically the striker vs grappler thing and Khabib showed tonight he can hang with top strikers long enough to impose his will on them, even though his striking isn't particularly good.

Yh it was close. Cyborg really busted her up though and took the fight to her. Holly got a chin too cuz she was getting blasted.

Too bad Holly's strikes were so ineffective. That high kick never did anything. I wonder if her yelling during her strikes doesn't give away much of it too.

Think she did already, all things considered. Not an easy opponent.

Ok night of fights. Khabib was dominant and I understand he wanted to fight for 15 min, but finish the fight man. I don't care to see a fighter drag out a fight. He's relatively unknown because of his grind you down style. No one outside a slim corner of hardcore fans cares to see that.

Holm remains one of those disappointing fighters. I'd like to see her empty her gas tank once in a fight. She clearly has the tank to go to distance, but rarely forces her opponents to gas.

Khabib tried tbh...especially in the first. You gotta account for the toughness of Barbosa too. He was blasting Barbosa with some huge GnP and you could tell by looking at his face after. It's just Barbosa was tough as hell and hung in there. He also has good td defense, so you can't really say Khabib wasn't trying. He even tried to grab a choke at one point too, but Barbosa escaped. As far as Holly goes, that was just a tough fight man, but it was closer than ppl thought imo.
