Btw I prayed for Stipe from I heard Anik say "paging Stipe Miocic, Francis Ngannou is coming".

Asking some make believe boogie man for help won’t save him.

Btw this card is a bit weak as a whole. We have the main event, which I hope is a decent fight and not an instant replay of Alistair Overoid. And DC vs somebody which is just meh for me. Not a buy worthy card no matter the cost.

Well, I always say the cards that look weak sometimes give else the best results. Here's hoping this'll be one of them. Between two cards tonight, I'm expecting to be entertained.

Yh the card looks weak on paper, but lately the lame looking cards have been turning out to be the best. The only two fights I am really hyped for is the championship fights obviously, but I feel like some fights may surprise. Almeida/Font and Kattar/Burgos are definitely sleepers imo.

A finish to start the card.

Islam catches a left hand and drops Tibau.

Yh that was nice. I'm not sleeping on the rest of the card yet. Feel like some fights may turn out to be good.

Is it me or is Ngannou/Miocic such a 50/50 fight? I wanna go with Miocic but I dunno man. Ngannou is a wild card. I think the hype is getting to me though. Miocic should win if he utilises a lot of quick, straight punches and grappling. I think he'll have to be able to take Ngannou's power to win. The other problem is how strong Ngannou is. Cisse (the only guy to beat Ngannou) had to take several hard shots to win. Ngannou landed flush and hard on him. And he can probably hit harder now than he could back then.

Anyone got any insight or wanna lay their chips down on this fight?

See thing is with the HW division there is very little room for error cuz everyone hits hard. Stipe's best chance at winning this fight will be avoiding any exchanges with Ngannou and fighting like an "mma" fighter, meaning he needs to use a bit of everything. When striking he needs to stay sharp and stick and move and then mix in some grappling to make Ngannou work and try to take some steam off of those heavy hands. If he has to take Ngannou's power to win, he won't win cuz he'll be on the floor snoring. Ngannou on the other hand needs to sprawl & brawl. Keep it on the feet, avoid any and all grappling exchanges and try to seperate Stipe from his consciousness. That said, it's not really 50/50, but it's gonna be the guy who implements their gameplan better that wins imo. That's all granted someone doesn't get ko'd early, which will more than likely be the case

I mean 50/50 in terms of odds to clarify. I know Ngannou is a decent favourite (or at least was... not sure now) but a lot of that is hype and casuals piling money on him.

                              <div style="position:relative;height:0;padding-bottom:56.21%"><iframe src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/5pEXnKXOtJQ?ecver=2" style="position:absolute;width:100%;height:100%;le ft:0" width="641" height="360" frameborder="0" allow="autoplay; encrypted-media" allowfullscreen></iframe></div>

Here's the proof that big Ngannou punches can be eaten lol.

I think Ngannou is gonna knock him out. Stipe gets hit. Overeem had him in trouble. Ngannou is good at hitting people (solid accuracy.... can punch going backwards... solid counter punching ability). So yeah. Last minute decision. I got Ngannou.
