Good to see you guys are finally making picks.

It's just been mostly me the past couple of years.

Well I'll try to breathe some more air into this board now that I'm done trying to fix grappling in UFC 3 🤣🤣🤣

You and Dave should return to the EA UFC boards sometime too.

You guys had good input and it balanced against trolls.

I don't like to normally do picks, but for some reason I decided to this time. The question marks means I don't care at all, lol.

I tried discord, but I like just the little traffic here. (I'm also spend a lot of time on twitter during fights)

          I'm still pissed I didn't go. Cageside was $300.

^ oh damn this would've been the perfect event to attend.

I attended UFC 174 in Vancouver.. not bad card in hindsight but it does not compare to UFC 225.

Also the odds on RDA v Colby is getting closer.
This fight may close as a pick'em.

I feel like I would only be rehashing my previous statements with less energy and visual aids at this point.
Only a few more patches now. Whatever changes will be made will now be minimal and with little impact from me.

I love picks, I always get them wrong.

The discord will probably be me and 2 more on mic drinking beers.
But I'll stop by here too in between fights. wasn't a fan of the big operation sports discord thing the GameDev is on... too many aholes and trolls.

Dang. I wonder though if you're better off? maybe go to a sh*ttier fight night event for cheap? I loved the live atmosphere, but maybe for the important fights it's easier to enjoy it with commentaries and a good view from above the cage.

I didn't know discord had mics, lol.

I could have met Kelvin, Valentina and other fighters if I went. I certainly like the view and commentary from my couch.

It has a cool voice chat system.

My friend was jumping around in Saitama to get pictures with Dan Hardy and Overeem. I'm kinda not that guy. I just feel kind awkward.

                  Edit:
Also a very cool video by MMA on point about the early weight-ins:

                  I strongly recommend it.

That's part of the reason my anxiety plays into it. How do you meet a fighter and not take a picture, but I hate getting my picture taken. Lol.

I find it kinda funny. "heeey Dan Hardy! over here!" dan hardy shows up. my friend looks away at his phone and takes a selfie. I mean Dan Hardy is right there, dude. why you looking away? shake his hand, or something. tell him you're a fan of his work.

Re: UFC 225: Whittaker VS Romero II

Some this first fight of the card.
Mike Santiago v Dan Ige. Both are DWTNCS alumni.

Santiago lost to Zabit and Ige lost to Julio Arce. Those were they highest level opponents.

I want to go with Santiago as I feel he could learn more from his loss to Zabit than Ige to Arce.

However Santiago has lost around 11x and 8 of those being subs. Ige has most of his wins by sub. However Santigao has more experience and sub wins.

I still would go with the favorite finding that position easier than Sanitago finding a finish.

Just found out Santiago is from Chicago. This could change things.

Well I guess it didn't change anything

Situation is similar in the next fight. Guida is the hometown fighter.

I want Guida to win but I feel Oliveria is in better condition and is perhaps entering his prime.
