Re: UFC 228: Woodley v Till

I'd be shocked if Till KOs Woodley in the first round. I'm interested to see how Tyron looks physically this fight. He's getting older, and a lot of his game is based on taking advantage of his explosiveness. I'm wondering how his game will change as he inevitably starts to slow down.

He is getting up there in age, but he's still in great physical shape look wise and I dnt think his explosiveness has gone anywhere yet. With age, stuff like explosiveness and quickness decline gradually not out of no where, so he should be good to go tonight. But yh I would be shocked if he got ko'd in the first too as he plays it so safe now, but it could definitely happen.

If Till could mimic Rory's gameplan I think he could win every round, but I don't think he has that skillset

I remember in the Maia fight Rogan was talking about how Tyron was open to high kicks from southpaws. I wonder if Till will take advantage of that with his hands.

Nice to see Miller get a win like he did on the preliminaries.

The key to Till beating him will be proper use of his range. He needs to keep Woodley on the end of his strikes and be ready to counter or get the hell outta dodge when Woodley tries to explode. And Till doesn't use much kicks, but it is definitely something he should and hopefully has considered using against Woodley. That left high kick for sure can help him keep his range and attack from distance. Gonna be an interesting fight. I feel like Woodley may try to grapple this go around tbh.

Yh definitely. Kneebar from back mount...really unique submission.

Fun first fight. Abdul got power, but like GSP said, i'm not impressed. Dude looks like he's just in there swinging for the most part and he kinda admitted it in his post fight interview. He caught Niko though.

                    Rough crowd, as usual.

I'm satisfied with the pace of this fight. Nice to see Rivera isn't gun shy.

Idk why they are so rough. They have gotten a good amount of finishes so far tonight. I enjoyed the fight too. Though there wasn't a finish, Rivera was certainly swinging for the fences.

Lol. Well we'll see now if the hype train keeps rolling on. Wish this was against Yair though.
