Re: UFC on ESPN+: Cejudo v Dillashaw

He didn't want to go on his back and cover up ...I guess and give up top control to cejudo . Had he grabbed that leg and hid his head yeah I guess it could have gone on longer .

I think the problem is that we don't think the flyweights have huge punching power if that was at heavy weight we would be screaming for the ref to stop it .

As biased as I am I can still argue both ways and accept it both ways .

What do you think of the Dodson/ Dillashaw stoppage ?

TJ vs Dodson could have went on longer too tbh.

Yeah that was kind of quick too ...but it must be tough being a ref

Yh for sure. Either way, you get love and hate for certain decisions you make.

On Pacquiao v Broner: Broner is saying he thought he won that fight. He only won 2-3 rounds officially so I think he is probably trolling.

Usually they are both around for fights this is the first time they are both gone.
I honestly think Broner works more on his post-fight excuses than his boxing skills.
            He sucks.

I guess I'm in the minority because I thought the stoppage was legit. Dillashaw was taking shots, and the only thing he was doing was grasping for an ankle.
If that fight continues, I'm convinced it ends with TJ seriously hurt and unconscious.

There'll be a rematch and I'll def watch that one too.

Lol yeah Broner talks better than he fights lately. He was gaining notority for his Mayweather like style before running into Maidana. Now it seems like he is just phoning it in.

The stoppage was alright. It is debatable since Dillashaw was seemingly scrambling but from what I saw he barely even had a single leg if at all.

I would like to see them rematch at 135.

Haha, agreed. I'm no Mayweather lover, but if you're going to yap as much as Broner you need some talent to back it up. Dude hasn't beaten anyone of consequence in his career.
He feasted on dudes at 135 when he was young enough to cut to 135 and then balloon to 150 come fight night.
That advantage is over and he didn't carry any of his power to 145+.
The only guy he stopped north of 140 is Ashley Theophane - a fight he failed to make weight for, lol.
But I digress. I don't want to fill an MMA thread with boxing talk, lol. My bad guys.

I'd love to see the rematch at 135 and it sounds like Cejudo wants it there as well.
Dillashaw is begging for the rematch at 125 though.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I read that UFC may be dropping the Flyweight division entirely?
