Volk works that inside low kick and clinch so well. Notable from his Aldo fight and is doing well the same against Holloway. I’d like Holloway to win, but Volk is definitely a live dog.

Volk muffled Max’s output by chewing up those legs and I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s 5-0 coming out of the 5th round. The inside low kick was the theme of the fight, and it felt like he landed it at will. Holloway really put out there in the final moments. The classic Holloway.

Night of the underdog tonight. Maybe another one coming up next. The main event really is the most even title fight in a long time... not only statistically but stylistically too, both are pace based. It really comes down to who can dictate the position of the fight, maybe even the power Vs volume dynamic. I want Usman to win but I think Colby can win more rounds for a decision. I wouldn’t be mad if Colby won either.. it’d be more entertaining.

I thought it was 2-2 going into the 5th. Interesting there wasn’t a single TD attempted... I thought Usman would attempt some clinching as it helped him win against Woodley. But it was the classic cliche of two wrestlers having a striking contest.

Great fight and great unexpected finish at the end there.

I disagree with Rogan being shocked at a 3-1 Colby. Me and wifey were debating if Usman was actually pretending to be rocked so many god damned times. Everytime "X is winning this round" the other fighter got rocked. Also sloppy GnP by Usman at the end there. Watch the back of the head.

That being said: Great, great ****ing fight. maybe Fight of the Year for me. Usman looked like he was possessed. Aside from maybe Edwards, I don't see anyone being competative with him.
