Smackdwon to Friday

Starting the fall season, Smackdown will be moved to Friday and WWE is almost definately moving Smackdown to a different station once their contract is up with UPN next year.

ouch! Smackdown needs to draft some of RAWs superstars or have some of the RAW writers head over to Smackdown and help out a bit. I dont blame UPN though, Smackdown is just a horrible show.

I don't think it's the quality of the show that's getting it moved. In fact, I'd venture to guess that it's still one of UPN's highest rated shows. They're moving it to bad time slot because they know the contract is up soon and they realize the chances of WWE wanting to re-up with them is slim to none. No reason to continue to promote a show that will be on a competitor before long. It's just business...

Fair enough, but Vince needs to counter. Smackdown has been an inferior show for too long and needs to be utilized properly if they still want to hang on to the 2 brand approach. Personally, I think the two brands have run their course...Vince calling the month long draft the most exciting month in history is laughable. Not sure how to make it work under network constraints, but there's gotta be a better way. The ECW angle and guys like Benoit and Shelton are keeping me into Raw. Otherwise, I've steadily lost interest in the WWE over the past year.

I have lost interest the past 2 years. I am tired of same storylines dragging and dragging on. A while ago people would go at it for a month then something would happen and They would end their feud.. I don't watch wrestling much anymore but when I do it's the same old stuff.. Evolution got old fast when they were together and they did the same thing every single night.. Darn I miss DX, NWO, and stuff like that...

I'm guessing USA or maybe even something like NBC might pick it up... you never know.
