A more mature Lesnar ready for return

WWE fans have not seen Brock Lesnar since his WrestleMania XX match against Goldberg. Shortly afterwards, the former WWE Champion left the sports-entertainment world in favor of pursuing an NFL career. Today, however, Lesnar has confirmed that he is scheduled to meet with Vince McMahon tomorrow to talk about a possible return to the ring.

“I’m excited about getting my working boots on and getting back to business,” Lesnar told WWE.com during a phone interview.

While Lesnar is excited about a return to the ring, he realizes that nothing is definite. “I don’t know what’s going to happen tomorrow in the meeting,” said Lesnar. “I don’t know if I’m returning to WWE, I really don’t. In order for this to happen, it has to work for both Vince and myself.”

A return to WWE may come as a shock to some fans, as the Internet has been buzzing recently about the rumors of a strained relationship between Lesnar and McMahon. “We need to get on the same page,” admitted Lesnar, regarding their relationship. “There’s some hard feelings on both ends of this. Sometimes it takes a little time to heal. We’ll know more tomorrow.”

The former WWE Superstar admits that some of the responsibility rests on him. “I had some maturing to do. There comes a time in everybody’s life when you have to grow up,” said Lesnar. “But professional wrestling is in my blood. I may have second guessed it in the past, but I know it now.”

I really hope Brock goes to Smackdown! and makes things interesting in the main event scene unfortunately if he goes there that might force Christian down the card. But just imagine, Brock vs Batista, and Brock vs JBL would be pretty good draws.

I wonder if Brock's coming back and the huge contract is the reason for all the releases.

I dont think its that, I'm pretty sure its the move to USA...I will try and find a link to that story that was a while ago that said there will be cost cutting measures due to the move etc.

That match would suck but every JBL match does so that's no suprise. I want him to go to Raw and fued with Benjamin.

am i the only one that never liked Lesnar?... granted he was a BEAST in size, but he didn't impress me, only time he did was when he botched the shooting star.

Brock is only fun to watch when he just destroys people and F5's them, I like him better as a babyface rather than a heel.

The only time he impressed me was when he was dancing with the mariachi band wearing a sombrerro while making fun of Eddie Guererro.

That match would suck but every JBL match does so that's no suprise. I want him to go to Raw and fued with Benjamin.

Perfect storyline too with their college wrestling ties. Shelton could hang with Brock on the mat; you couldn't get more over than that if you're Benjamin as he'd be a main event player immediately.

I still remember Brock pushing Zach Gowen (one legged wrestler) down a flight of stairs while he was in a wheelchair... it was one of times where you know it's wrong to laugh but you can't help it.

Yeah, now that was hilarious stuff right there. He pushed him and just started laughing in a very evil way. That was great and to me when he was over as a heel. It would be great to have him back regardless of what show he is on. To me he had the size and strength of Goldberg but he could actually put on a wrestling match and not just a one min/2 move demolition.
