My buddy and I were talking on break the other day about how great it would be to see a legends wrestling made by thq. If thq would make the game like smackdown with some of the greatest legends of all time in both wwe/wcw, we thought that it would sell tremendously... and since two men can't persuade thq by themselves we have decided to hit the "boards" with this question.

nah probably not... considering I don't even play the regular smackdown I think I would have trouble picking up a legends game.

I'd rent it but I don't think it's a good idea. They need to concentrate on making those piles of crap known as SD vs Raw and WM 21 better for their sequels so no time for a legends game.

You would probably see too much current wrestling type moves incorporated into the guys' movesets. I think it might have some potential coming from THQ tho.

The LOW games were mediocre at best.

I wouldn't play the game, but I think there is a chance that THQ would produce this due to the WWE pushing hard with the Legends recently doing special events, releasing DVDs with the legends included, WWE Hall of fame and WWE 24/7. They are obviously trying to sell the glory days again.

Yup, its in the states gradually more compaines are picking it up. Doesn't look like many companies are carrying WWE 24/7 up here in Canada yet, and you have to pay for every event you want to watch on the channel which could be a downfall. I know Cogeco which has its own video on demand service is not carrying WWE 24/7, but if they do I'll be looking into it. If you check out the schedules on what is being shown it wont be a surprise that it gets even more popular.

I'd like to try that one out. I'd love to have it on XBOX though. Next gen seems like the best time for it however so the storylines could increase. I thought WM21 on XBOX was suppose to be better after the patch? Still garbage? I was thinking about getting it. Clearly, I'm not into the new wrestling now. I'd love to see Diesel, Razor Ramon, Superfly, The Genius, Mrs. Perfect, Holk, Sting, Utlimate Warrior, Yokozuno, the old Undertaker, Bret and Owen Hart, the old Ric Flair, Sgt. Slaughter, all them other ones. I get chills thinking about it. Ravishing Rick Rude. Oh my goodness, those were the good old days. I'd definitely get it if those players were in the game, the game had as much appeal as WCW/NWO Revenge, a deep storyline, and wasn't rushed.

Be lucky to get a TNA game. They've been talking about it for so long now it may not come. Maybe TNA would be nice enough to put ROH wrestlers in the game or at least their moves and C.A.W. parts.
