I'm starting to believe it was a work all along too, and if it was, then it's one of the greatest works ever, with the WWE using the internet as the perfect springboard.

another reason to think it may have been a work. You have to admit, if you were Matt you'd be cussin up a storm, nat'l TV or not. I'd get alot more out than WWE can kiss my a&&

Wow. That was one of the better Raw's in a long time. It's still way too soap opera like with not enough good matches, but I'll take this storyline.

And I wish fans would not cheer Hogan so much. I never liked his pathetic wrestling style and his overall fake gimmick. I prefered much more the Hollywood Hogan gimmick.

It does look like that....but I just can't believe that WWE would be smart enough to pull this off. And you'd think something would have leaked out if it was all an act.

yeah, exactly...I mean I don't think they'd show it if it wasn't planned, but man, they have me fooled, wondering what the hell happened...no commentary was a nice touch

The only bit of wrestling I saw on Raw was Ashley monkey flipping Christy. Was watching the HR derby and that rockstar show on CBS. Every time I turned on Raw there was a talk segment going on.

I obviously didn't see the Hardy thing but I think it's a 1 shot deal,maybe as some sort of apology. Both ROH and TNA would have had to been in on this if it was all a work and I don't see TNA being in on it when they wouldn't let Kash & Raven go to the ECW show (wich is why Kash quit TNA). ROH wouldn't just not tell TNA because they'll pull their wrestlers out of there again. Also Matt has already been mentioned on Impact unless there's another Hardy I don't know about.

didn't seem like a one time thing...IMO, seems like Matt's going after Adam and Lita like he said...and if the WWE threw enough money at Matt, then nothing would surprise me (leaving ROH and TNA)

Overall Raw was not that great. Carlito/Benjamin was a decent match with a bad finish. The Masters match was bad, even with Tajiri dominating, that guy needs to get off the air. I don't know what Cena's obsesssion with the "Y2Cheap" thing is, and about his Cheap sauce and Cheepville comments, I thought it was pretty stupid. I still don't like Cena at all. The Diva search was again way too long (although Ashley is damn cute). Kane vs. Edge was kinda disappointing but sets up Kane/Snitsky (oh boy) and the Matt thing was insane. If he wouldn't have attacked Edge backstage I may have believed it was real, but how does he attack someone back stage, sneak off, get into the crowd again, and manage to get back into the ring at just that time? Did anybody else notice the extra security guy run out when Edge came out? They had a bunch of extra guys around the ring, inside the guard rail for that match only.

Also, there was still way too much talking tonight. Even though only the Cabana and Piper's Pit appeared, I think that's still two too many of these "talk show" things on Raw.

Although Carlito is still cool.
