Since they created the beast of Batista, they almost have to bring in Brock to expose this guy. Between Randy Orton, Batista, and now John Cena, I think their initiative to develop new stars by giving them a title reign has failed pretty miserably.

Failed miserably? I know he's not the best wrestler, but Cena has been a pretty good champ ratings wise, and we all know Vince develops his new stars to get ratings and provide entertainment, not to wrestle.

Also, i'd rather have Batista as champ than JBL. God I hate that guy.

so Edge jumps shows? Anyways Cena is a money making superstar. Cena is over huge and just because you may like him CWood, he's one of the most over superstars of the 2000's.

This is what I read from somewhere about what something thinks and is very close to what I think will happen, this week on Raw we start the Edge/Matt Hardy feud since that whole "Kane getting arrested thing". So this builds up to a "non-WWE sanctioned" match at Summerslam between Edge and Matt. Matt wins the match. Later in the show, Edge cashes in the Money in the Bank deal and takes the title from Batista and jumps to SD. On Raw, to replace Edge, Bischoff hires back Hardy. It would kinda leave Hardy with nothing to do, but if he keeps on this rebel who doesn't care for authority deal, he could take this gimmick and run with it no matter who he's feuding with.

I like it, but they are going to drag out Edge/Hardy for a few more months at least.

Well, while I was thinking about it, they could really play on the loose cannon gimmick with Hardy and have him show up on whichever show he wants. That way if Edge does jump to SD, Hardy could still have a feud with him in some capacity. Although I don't know if you throw Hardy into a program with SD's champ at the time, but it would still make for some interesting TV. Sure he'd be working his *** off, but it would really get across his gimmick. And they have to give him free reign on the mic to say whatever he wants, plug indy shows and throw in some swear words (some bleeped, some unbleeped) for good measure.

I wouldn't pull Matt Hardy off of Edge that fast, IMO...once you make the feud "legimate" on tv, then i really think the "wow, that's cool" novelty wears off...I'd come up with some more creative Hardy run-ins on Edge matches, but I think SS is too soon for a blow off for this feud. Unless WWE has some sort of long term plan, with a few swerves that I wouldn't expect (Lita somehow returning to Matt, i dunno)...Lately it seems like the WWE hasn't really been planning much further than a day in advance.

dont count the Lesnar chickens before they hatch - it's being reported he backed away from the deal after all terms were agreed to...
