Amazing how Batista AND Orton have gone into a tailspin since Evolution broke up....I used to love watching Raw every Monday, not knowing what Evolution would do next.

I say Batista should get the surgery. If he's out for 2-3 months, he'll still be back shortly after the Rumble and with plenty of time to build up a match between he and Orton for WM 21. Oh, and I think Orton should get the belt once Batista goes on the shelf.

This is a great idea. Have Kane and Show bring the belt over to Raw and give it to Eric. Tell Smackdown if someone wants it come get it. Well something along those lines. Great for the invasion angle.

I know that a torn lat is a serious injury...but...I don't see anywhere in that report that says he will be out of action for a year.

Here is what Dave Meltzer had to say about Bautista after his visit to see Dr. James Andrews:

--Batista will have to decide whether to attempt to rehab is back, or get the muscle re-attached through surgery. He would be out about three months with the latter procedure.

Meltzer also later reported that Bautista will opt out of surgery and just try to rehab. He is expected to be out 4-6 weeks.

I've been thinking an angle with a vacated title has been long overdue. It might be a little more appropriate for the Royal Rumble or a bigger pay-per view for a tournament, but would be refreshing nonetheless. An angle with Bischoff sabotaging Smackdown's roster going into Survivor Series would be cool, too.
