You better look again and if you can't see a difference by the size of his arms then and now then I guess you can think what you want. Check out the Wrestlemania match between HBK and Deisal. I'm sure not giving HBK a free pass because ever since he was part of the Rockers when he was a teenager he's been bulky. I'm just saying that the size and muscle tone he exhibits now wouldn't indicate that he's an abuser.

Regardless I think it's safe to say 99.99% of wrestlers have used it one time or another and the way thier lifestyle is they don't have much choice. They are adults but the WWE has to be stringent in their testing and punishment and maybe some of these guys wouldn't feel like they need to take them to compete. If there was rampant cocaine abuse among the staff then I'm sure Vince would take matters into his own hands because it affects his bottom line.

In Russo and Ferrara's DVD, Russo said that HBK was hopped up on drugs at one point, but he never said what they were.

I don't think anybody is suggesting this. As the number 1 promotion in the United States (with no real competition), they are strongly influential. If they came out public and said "we're not going to put up with this BS anymore", I definitely think it would have a trickle down effect, or at least prove show they're taking a stand. The problem has clearly been around for a long time in that entire business, but they're the public face to most people, and they should be held responsible.

The fact that they're so secretive, full of finger-pointing, and publically ignorant just stinks to the high heavens for me personally.

I have this book by Mauro Di Pasquale, The Anabolic Solution for recreational and competitive powerlifters, in the book (on page 14) he says "because of some drug allegations against Vince McMahon and his sports federations. I was asked to handle the talent of both the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) and the World Powerlifting Federation (WPF).Making sure that the athletes didn't use drugs wasn't enough. We had to provide a viable alternative, especially for the professional powerlifters that were in the WPF." He has this diet that naturally builds muscle and strength. I haven't tried it yet but he does have the credentials. I think there are some athletes that are naturally getting larger and stronger, but there are also some juicers. The nature of professional wrestling with the lack of time off can probably be a main factor into pain killer addiction. Also, unfair performance enhancement substances like steriods build muscle faster because they reduce the recovery time of a workout. You build muscle from consuming enough protein then working out and you make the improvements when you recover. Steroids reduces this recovery time so that you can workout more frequently and get faster results, but it taxes your heart and other body parts. There are also tell tale signs of chronic steroid use like roid rage, acne, and male breasts.
