    sd vs. raw question

how do you win handicap matches? I can beat the hell out of both guys (while taking some punishment myself), but can never seem to get the pin/submission. I try to hit the guy on the side of the ring before the pin, but targetting him/doing a punch doesn't always seem to work. Any advice? Getting frustrating cause it's stopping my season from moving on, and i just want to break stuff after I dominate a match against 2 people but always get the finishing move interferred with by the other guy

A little trick that I do is rather than switching targets to the guy on the outside, just run towards him and do your running attack when you get close. That way you can hit him and then run and pin the other guy you're still locked onto.

thanks...i got that to work for 2 counts a few times, and then later on i just started pinning after the guy got kicked out of the ring, and that worked...I've always hated this part of video games, cause in real life a handicap or triple threat matchup is scripted, but on a game it can be pretty damn tough to win

I dunno if it'll work for you but what i've done is target one guy and keep hammering away on him. If I need to take a breather I let the two other wrestlers beat the crap out of each other and help out the one that's winning.

At some point all 3 of the wrestlers will be pretty much out of it and i'd knock out one of the opponents then do a finishing move on the other and go for the pin.

It makes the match very long but it's worked a few times.

Best move for the handicap match is, do a finisher on one guy than quickly hard irish whip the other guy over the ropes. Pin & victory.

Its harder to pull off than it seems but you can eventually do it.

another question, been playing this more...

just moved up to hard from normal, and it seems like the CPU reverses way too many finishing moves...I do them when it's flashing and they'll still reverse it, which sucks cause the rest of the match is really good back and forth, but they'll be able to hit the finisher when I can't, and that's usually what decides a match. Just something I've gotta keep working at, or is this an issue I didn't know about previously? Really fun game by the way, and on hard, with the reversals, it's a pretty tight match that makes me work to win, on normal i was getting too good.

Not really an issue. The cpu just plain ol reverses any and everything now. You'll eventually be able to perform a finsher on them. Sometimes they just reverse them. If you feel that they do it to much, you could always lower that slider. I cant remember if I tweaked mine or not. I'll look into it when I get home.
